This traditional style charming cottage with stone frontage is situated on a quiet country lane. It enjoys magnificent views over Kenmare Bay and the Magillicuddy Reeks. The picturesque town of Kenmare is just three kilometres away offering enchanting shops, award winning restaurants and pubs with a warm Irish welcome. Fuchsia Cottage is on the Wild Atlantic Way which runs along the west coast of Ireland. This is a newly developed scenic coastal drive. Fuchsia Cottage is a picturesque drive away on the Ring of Kerry to the Unesco World Heritage site , the Skellig Island which feature in the recent Star Wars Movie "The Force Awakens"

This cottage is the perfect destination for exploring the scenic Ring of Kerry and Ring of Beara.

Home baking, wine and a welcome pack will be there on arrival to help you relax and enjoy your holiday. Your host is an experienced walking guide and would be happy to give advice on mountain and hill walking in the area.

Fuchsia Cottage has been decorated to give a cottage-like effect with traditional features. All rooms upstairs and downstairs,except one, have sea and mountain views, the remaining room has a mountain view. The cottage has three bedrooms, one downstairs with a single bed which can be made into a double room. Upstairs are two large cottage style bedrooms looking across at the Kenmare Bay and Carrantuoohil. All bedrooms have wash-hand basins. The bathroom is upstairs with a shower, w.c. and wash-hand basin. Downstairs is a w.c and wash-hand basin. Wi-Fi is available free in and around Fuchsia Cottage

A large fully fitted kitchen com dining room has every modern convenience. The living room has been fitted with a pine floor and ceiling and wall panelling and has satellite TV, DVD player and CD player. An open fire adds to the charm of this room along with breathtaking views of Kenmare Bay.

If you have a laptop; there is also broadband available all the time!!!

Lovely cottage. Maria has thought of everything! The only thing that could make it any better would be a bath! Stunning views. Beautiful location. Great place for walking, cycling and kayaking!

Amazing views. Very well equipped cottage in perfect setting. Joop and Maria are lovely people, welcoming and friendly but not intrusive. We loved the cottage and the area.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Maria (the owner) a message.

If Maria (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
