Set in its own mature garden enjoying stunning south facing views over Coverdale the cottage is a popular venue for families and friends alike. With three comfortable double beds, 2 spacious singles and 2 bathrooms the house easily accommodates a mix of age ranges.
In the summer the two patios at the front and the back of their house come into their own. A barbecue is provided for al fresco dining. In the winter, a modern central heating system and two wood burning stoves ensures that the house is toasty warm after a trip out in the cold.
For those with small children, tractors, cows and sheep are the main act . For older children the award winning Forbidden Corner is just a couple of miles down the road, not to mention Bolton Castle (real live knights!) and Lightwater Valley (the longest rollercoaster in Europe).
For those wishing to burn some calories Pen Hill is but a short walk away and provides magnificent views over the hole of Wensleydale as well as access to the best fish restaurant in the Dales, the Wensleydale Heifer. For a swift pint after a walk or a more relaxed evening tipple the community run pub in the neighbouring village Carlton is 15 minutes walk away. All in all a great place to spend any amount of time.
