LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! A cosy haven of charm and comfort right at the very centre of London.

Certificate of Excellence since 2018.

Very close to Soho, Covent Garden, Leicester Square, West End theatres, Oxford street shopping, British Museum, Oasis gym and swimming pool, etc. All within 5 minutes walk.

Restaurants, shops, cafés etc. just outside the building's door inc. London's famous bookstore Foyles.Supermarket nearby.

Outernet London, a new type of entertainment district opened in 2022, The largest digital exhibition space in Europe with the "world's largest LED screen deployment". (From Wikipedia). Just outside our building.

Tottenham court rd. tube station a few steps away. Direct new Elizabeth Line underground train from Heathrow. 40 mins. ride.

The room has charm in abundance, mixing modern design that incorporates an interesting split level living area and the original features of the impressive Edwardian building. The building has been recently restored.

The apartment is surprisingly quiet considering its central location. This is because the apartment is high above the road and has very effective glazing. (third floor, with a vintage 1930s lift). A separate shower cubicle. A very comfortable double bed that slides out at bed time and slides away during the day. A well equipped kitchen. Cable TV, hi-speed Wi Fi. Linen and towels provided.

The flat's manager meets you at the flat upon arrival and checks you in.

The building’s stairway and some of its flats are currently being restored. Works take place only daytime during weekdays. The lift might go out of order sometimes during the works. Therefore we are offering during the restoration period discounted rates. The rate was amended accordingly. We also offer special monthly and longer periods rates.

Music, theatre, and literature history of the building and area:

The building is located near Denmark Street, knwn as Londons "Tin Pan Alley". (now being renovated)

The building has a lot of music and theatre history.

Brian Sommerville who was the Beatles publicist in the early days lived there.

D. James Music were on the 2nd floor. they signed the Beatles publishing.

The building in in the corner of Denmark St., London’s historical “Tin Pan Alley” and its music stores.

Many West End actors and theatrical agents used to live in the building.

Visiting West End actors book the studio from time to time.

The building is on Charing Cross rd. whcih has a history of bookstores (remember the film "84, Charing Cross rd."?), with London's landmark Foyles bookstore just acoss the street.

1. It is not true we didn’t notify about the refurbishment. This note is in the listing: PLEASE NOTE: The historic Edwardian building in which the flat is located is currently being restored, and scaffoldings are raised around it, which might cause inconvenience and obstruction to the views from the windows. Therefore we are offering during the restoration period discounted rates. The rate was amended accordingly. 2. The flat is cleaned professionally before each check in. 3. The dust and debris the guest mentioned were in parts of the buildings’ staircase due to the works, but definitely not in the flat. 4. The lift indeed went out of order due to overload during the guest’s long stay, but this has now been fixed by the construction company working on the restoration. Since the guest complained about it and said he had a health issue with his knees, we offered him to check out and receive a full refund for the days he didn’t stay, but he decided to stay. 5. I stay in the flat whenever I am in London and dates are available. In fact I was there last week and enjoyed my stay as almost all our guests do:). Please see other reviews. Repairs when needed and improvements are made on a regular basis.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mo (the owner) a message.

If Mo (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
