From the owner

Whitecaps is a 3 bedroom detached house in a 1930's private estate. The house is only a 2 minute walk from the sea and 5 minutes from the Hayling Island Sailing Club and marina. With a roof terrace with stunning views across Chichester Harbour and the Solent, this is an idyllic holiday home. The rear garden backs on to a nature reserve with rare breed cattle, deer and many different birds from woodpeckers to kestrels spotted at the bottom of the garden. A tennis court, green and children's swings add to the perfect setting.

A large master bedroom, a twin room and a bunk-bed / twin room provides plenty of accommodation - there is also a travel cot and high chair available on request. The large open plan lounge / kitchen / diner has a large balcony overlooking the nature reserve and the harbour. The roof terrace has dining facilities and stunning views. There is a secure rear garden laid to lawn. The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, microwave and dishwasher.

Large bright modern home, fully refurbished in 2009. Situated in a lovely private estate with a central green, tennis court & swings. Very comfortably furnished, well equipped - a real home from home.

All bed linen and towels provided - except for beach towels. Travel cot and high chair available on request.

Why can't I call Corinne (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Corinne (the owner) a message.

If Corinne (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
