**** Visit Wales 4 star rated Accomdation ****

Perfect location to explore beautiful Snowdonia and North Wales.

Segrwyd Mill is an 18th century grade II listed water mill, steeped in history and located in the heart of the North Wales countryside, between Nantglyn and Denbigh. It lies in a tranquil setting on the banks of the river Ystrad.

The mill has been worked by the Lloyd family for generations but stopped producing flour in 1959. To prevent this unique building from falling into a state of disrepair and its history gone forever, the last miller's son has lovingly and tastefully converted it into holiday accommodation. All the original workings are still intact and can be viewed throughout the building.

From the door you can walk through fields and hills and drive a short distance to the Brenig Reservoir (Llyn Brenig) a great destination for walking, biking, fishing and picnics!

Three miles away is the market town of Denbigh, the birth place of H M Stanley, its castle looming high above the town.

Ten miles away is Ruthin the county town of Denbighshire,

Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Llangollen are well worth a visit. The famous Llangollen Canal and the awesome Pontcysyllte Aqueduct (a World Heritage site), the Llangollen Railway, has opportunities for many activities including rafting, canoeing, kayaking, climbing, abseiling, and gorge walking. Llangollen is also home to the annual International Eisteddfod.

Visit the Snowdonia National Park with its magnificent scenery and wide range of outdoor activities, where you can walk or take the train up Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales and experience the breathtaking panoramic view from the top.
