Thekla Court, self catering apartments, is situated in the outskirts of the authentic, historic, small and welcoming town of Polis. The location is peaceful, yet central with an ideal climate. The nearest beach, Chrysochou Bay, is 20 min walk away (5 min by car), and an 8 min stroll brings you to the town centre with its friendly atmosphere, excellent restaurants for eating out, bars, internet cafes, outside entertainment, banks, supermarkets and interesting shops. Polis provides a pleasant environment for a relaxing or romantic holiday and is also an ideal base for activities, e.g. cycling, biking, hiking, snorkeling, scuba-diving, coastal cruises, quad biking etc.

This spacious (38.07 sq meter) Studio (001) is on the ground floor, is designed for enjoyable living and has great view to the sea and the mountains. It is ideal for friends or couples and has its own private entry to the Sunny terrace. The property (3 apartments) benefits from its own private sunny terrace & pool and even a secluded roof terrace - ideal for sun lovers and evening drinks. Outside areas are fully equipped with sun beds and tables and chairs for outside meals and drinks.

This Studio has been fitted to a very high standard and include fly screens, air conditioning and central heating. It has a light and very spacious living area with full entertainment system including Satellite TV (NileSat), internet access via Wifi (additional cost, if internet access is required, please request it when you book), a large double bed, fully fitted wardrobes, a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom facilities.

For a small child on the sofabed and for discounted stays (for 2 weeks or more) please request a quote from the owner.

The first 10 meters up to Thekla Court are at a steep gradient, the next 100 meters slope gently uphill; all manageable when walking if of average fitness level - even if elderly.

She makes sure they get instructions for accessing their apartments before they arrive, welcomes them and makes sure they are comfortable at Thekla Court during their stay. If internet access is required, please request it (additional charge) when booking. Directions to the property is sent to guests, please bring them and use them to avoid a local call out fee of Euro 50.00 plus VAT after 18.00.

Thank you so much for your comments. In the Studios we gave priority to the provision of a hob, oven, toaster and fridge. Although a microwave is very convenient, the hob and oven also provide flexible opportunities for heating and cooking food and also for grilling. A larger freezer compartment would be ideal too. When changes become required in the future, we will of course take your comments into account.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Synnove & Chris (the owner) a message.

If Synnove & Chris (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
