From the owner

Set in a quiet no through lane, Mill Cottage has a particularly lovely setting, with the Solva River to the fore and bluebell woods behind. Continue along the lane and you'll reach the foreshore, less than 100m from Mill Cottage. At low tide, there is direct access to Solva's sand beach, or you can stroll along the harbour edge to the quay. The Pembrokeshire National Coast Path is within 50m. The pretty Main Street, with its array of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants is less than a minutes walk across the river. This perfect location, one of the most desirable in Solva, makes Mill Cottage a fantastic place for a break in beautiful Pembrokeshire. To take advantage of the views, and to enjoy the garden backing onto the woods, the cottage has an open plan living area upstairs with patio doors leading to the garden. Peaceful and idyllic, the garden is a lovely spot for al fresco dining or a drink watching the sun set over Moelfryn, listening to the river. The kitchen is modern and well equipped, and the seating area has oak furniture and comfortable leather sofas around a cosy open fire. Downstairs, there is a comfortable double bedroom, a room with bunk beds and a bathroom with bath and power shower over. We are pleased that Mill Cottage has it's own parking right next to the cottage; we want your holiday to be completely stress free. There is plenty to do in Solva - browse the shops and galleries, enjoy views from the excellent cafes, and sample an evening in one of the friendly pubs. The quay is a magnet for all ages; crabbing off the quay wall is a family favourite, with jumping off the wall for the more adventurous. It's great harbour to explore on kayaks, you can learn to sail or just sit and enjoy the atmosphere. 3 miles away you'll find St David's, with it's famous cathedral and Bishops Palace. Within 10 minutes drive, the Blue Flag award beaches of Newgale and Whitesands can be reached, popular spots for surfing, wind kites, canoe and kayaks or a walk along a long sandy stretch at the waters edge.

The beds will be made up ready for your arrival, but please note that towels are not provided.
