The Falconer is a lovely semi-detached apartment for four guests, situated in a property of 5 hectars of lush woods on a hill overlooking a beautiful valley and green mountains, just 1,6 miles from the medieval town of Spoleto.

It will enchant you with the bright, delicious colors, the country furniture and the extreme care for details, giving you the true feeling of a typical Italian country home.

The Falconer will greet you in its enticing rooms: the lovely sitting room with fireplace, the cozy, fully equipped kitchen and two adorable bedrooms with en-suite bathroom. All rooms open on the private garden, commanding an amazing view of the valley and the mountains and furnished with chaises longues, pergola with dining table and stone barbeque; here, surrounded by roses and rosemary, you can relax reading a book, cook delicious meals on the barbecue and dine under the pergola in the Italian moonlight.

A beautiful swimming pool 17x5 meters (56x17 feet) of crystal water, immersed in a garden of blossoming roses, olive trees and lavender, offers an astonishing view of the mountains and the valley. Chaises longues, reclining chairs and large umbrellas are arranged around the pool to make you relax and enjoy your lazy hours in the Italian sun.

Once you get tired of swimming or sunbathing around the pool, there are so many different things you can do to have fun: horse riding in the surrounding green hills, rafting along the Nera river, walking or biking in town or on the mountain paths, or discovering the artistic and architectural treasures of Spoleto and the many towns in the vicinity: Assisi, Perugia, Spello, Montefalco, Norcia, Todi and many other less famous but fascinating places are there for you to discover the charm of the past ad the well cherished art treasures.

Last but not least, explore the Umbrian gastronomic tradition and its delicious, genuine foods, including locally grown truffles; not to forget that this is the area of famous Sagrantino di Montefalco and other superb worldly renowned wines. Wine tasting is available in the best vineyards of the area for you to discover this Italian treasure.

    How do damage deposits work?

    If Beatrice (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
