From the owner

La Garanne is a comfortable farmhouse located on the outskirts of a friendly village in the heart of the beautiful Dordogne. There are 2 bakeries and a decent size supermarket within 5 minutes walk, but the property is quiet as a whisper and has expansive views over the valley. The house is well set up for famillies with a cot and highchair available and there are games and books too.

We are 10minutes drive to Chateau Durantie in Lanouaille, which is a popular place for weddings. Lots of our guests choose to book with us and make a holiday of attending a wedding there.

Superb cycling country means you will never be lost for a new route to explore and there is golf nearby. Bikes are available at the property free of charge.

We provide a welcome pack with all the essentials and are happy to provide a more substantial one if you will be arriving late at night, just let us know what you would want. Our property manager lives local and is on hand if you need it.

The house is clean and tidy and is set up for year round living, it's not just a holiday home. The gardens have been planted out last year and the expansive lawn is great for the kids to run about or a fun game of badminton.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Voilà (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
