House can be entered from first floor where bedrooms are situated or from downstairs at the living area

Enter living area with fireplace, enormous comfortable corner sofa, and further two seater by fireplace.

Living room leads through to hallway with downstairs shower room.Hallway leads to kitchen/diner with washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dining table

Kitchen leads out onto patio area overlooking pool with mountains beyond.

Upstairs there are 4 comfortable bedrooms, 2 of which have en suite shower rooms and one of which has a small terrace with beautiful views

Upstairs there is also a family bathroom with bathtub - ideal for a relaxing soak, or for those with small children.

Outside, there is a private pool 9.5M x 4M with Roman Steps.

A little about location:

Casa Cascianella is situated just outside the ancient village of Cascianella with its tiny population, and a 10/15 minute walk from Casciana, which is a little busier and boasts a bar and shop! Despite the real feel of yesteryear, the stunning views and peace and quiet, it is only a 5 minute drive (or less) to the village of Piazza al Serchio with traditional local shops, supermarket, small Tuesday morning market, river, bars, restaurants and train station for easy exploring. In terms of larger towns, there is Castelnuovo the busy market town which is 20 mins or so away, the mediaeval town of Barga 45 minutes, and the walled city of Lucca, which is a must for a day out, 1 hr 15 mins or so.
