Escape to Moulin, by Pitlochry in the heart of beautiful Highland Perthshire.

Our lovely traditional cottage was built in the 1860s and was formerly the laundry house for the Moulin Inn which is just a few steps away. It sits in the heart of Moulin village just 2/3 of a mile out of Pitlochry.

This quaint self catering cottage has three bedroom: two double and one twin, a beautiful living room with cosy open fire, a country kitchen with fridge, freezer, toaster, slow cooker and a fully tiled bathroom with a full-size bath to soak away your aches and pains and a powerful shower over the bath. The cottage has gas central heating, free Wifi, Smart TV, DVD player and a large supply of DVDs and family games. Pets welcome.

The cottage has a front garden with arbour. The back garden has a the Moulin Burn running along the perimeter and the deck is perfect for cooking on the barbecue or enjoying listening to the water flow by.

This is the ideal location for walkers, fishing, cyclists, golfers, whisky lovers and theatre-goers.

Moulin Inn is close by with real ales, great food, log fires and a beer garden. A ten minute walk down the road to Pitlochry offers shops, restaurants, bike hire, extreme sports and a theatre.

The place wasn't very clean when we arrived - I messaged the host to explain that and they were very rude to me! There was a dead badger in the garden and the tap water tasted funny!

Hiya the table is very heavy but the cottage sleeps up to 8 guest so it has to be stable for safety reasons We are glad you enjoyed your stay

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Sharon (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sharon (the owner) a message.

If Sharon (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
