We have renovated this traditional stone house to offer you exceptional style, peace and comfort for your holiday in this magical part of southern France. Three large double bedrooms all have private en-suite bathrooms and the comfortable beds with their luxury mattress toppers and quality linen guarantee you a good night's sleep. The kitchen, with oak beams and exposed stone walls, is modern and fully-equipped and the spacious living room has large sofas for lounging, a wood-burning stove and paintings by local artists, The living room looks onto the large garden and dining terrace, while a woodland and several other terraces offer you wonderful views across the countryside to the Viaur river gorges.

The house is set at the edge of a small friendly villages with a bakery, butchers, several cafes and a weekly market in sumner providing delicous local produce. It is ideally located for exploring the natural and cultural riches of this beautiful region. We are only a few minutes from Najac, one of the "most beautiful villages in France", and a short, scenic drive from Cordes-sur-Ciel, elected "France's Favourite Historic Village" in 2014. We will be delighted to guide you to most beautiful and hidden areas for swimming, walking, picnics and fishing along the spectacular gorges of the Viaur and Aveyron Rivers. Other oustanding sites within easy reach include the famous medieval villages of Saint-Cirque Lapopie and Conques, the ice age cave paintings in Pech-Merle, the towns of Albi and Figeac, and the magnificent shrine of the Black Virgin at Rocamadour. Free Wifi, bedlinen, towels and cleaning equipment are supplied.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Eleanor (the owner) a message.

If Eleanor (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
