From the owner

La Vigne is a very spacious characteristic gite that can accommodate 6/7 people. There are 3 spacious bedrooms - 1 with a superking bed (this room also has a single bed in it), and 2 twin rooms with single beds. The bedrooms could also take a cot if required. They are situated on the first floor along with the bathroom which has a bath/separate shower & toilet. All of the bedrooms have ample storage and have either carpet or wooden flooring.

There very large lounge has an open fireplace and enough comfortable seating for everyone - there is also a television/DVD player (where you can access BBC/ITV channels). The kitchen has a full sized cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and crockery/cutlery - we also provide an iron/ironing board & hairdryer. The gite has 2 entrances - one that opens up into hangar which is a covered area with a table tennis & football table which are for communal use. It also leads to the courtyard where the heated pool is. The other entrance leads to the main courtyard where you will find garden table & chairs and a stone BBQ for your sole use.

We have 2 acres of walled grounds, which is ideal for any families as it provides a safe playing environment. Les Vieilles Ombres is situated in a very tranquil setting to provide a relaxing, peaceful holiday yet there is plenty to do in the area should you wish to.

20% deposit required qt the time of booking with the remainder payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of £200 € is payable with the final payment.

La Vigne has central heating so is perfect for all the year round - there is also a wood burner in the fireplace in the lounge. It is a lovely gite with ample space for a family to enjoy that home from home feeling.

We also have 3 other gites which can sleep from 2 - 5 persons. Please ask for more details

The gites are situated in walled grounds & gated courtyards which make it a very safe playing environment for children. At the far end of the gardens is the park area of the grounds full of beautiful old trees and offering some very welcome shade in the height of the summer. Les Vieilles Ombres has 2 separate courtyards and entrances to the gites. The heated salt water swimming pool is fenced for safety and has a large sun patio poolside with sun loungers and umbrellas - there is also a changing room with shower & toilet located close to the pool for added convenience. We also have a hangar which is sheltered area for all to enjoy should it get to warm for you. The hangar has a table tennis table and football table available for use. There is access to the local tennis court in the village which is just a few minutes walk away - we can provide rackets and balls. We have also built a boules court within the garden for you to be able to try the favourite French pastime - we have all the equipment that you may need. .

Why can't I call Sharon (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Sharon (the owner) a message.

If Sharon (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
