Casa Tranquila is in a prime location with wonderful vistas across the valley and towards the sea. The interior is a clever combination of traditional décor with modern functionality and comfort even for the most discerning traveller. The architectural use of shapes generates light and space and captures the ambiance of this delightful southern climate. The property has been built high within the plot to provide the maximum views, coupled with privacy and peace. There is a heavy steel gate installed with easy remote control feature. There is a large drive way and easy steps to take you to the hand made wooden door. You enter the property to a large hall with zen garden, door to technical room, houses washing machine and dryer. Looking to your right you immediately note the particularly wide oak and steel floating staircase which takes you up to the accommodation. The landing is large with books, games and seating. The property has cleverly been split into two wings. One where you will find the bedroom suites and the other the social areas. Also off the airy corridor is a cloakroom.The sitting room over looks the terrace and pool area with views to the valley and sea. There is a circular free standing contemporary log burner for winter months. High quality porcelain floor tiles have been used throughout to create a luxurious feel both inside and out on the terraces. There are 2 sofas. Extendable dining table/6 chairs, breakfast bar with 4 stools. You will also find a 50” LCD TV with IPTV installed and a DVD player/internet available. There is air conditioning/heating installed which can be utilised at the flick of the remote control. We do not charge extra for A/C. There is a BOSE soundtouch 10 (Bluetooth), even binoculars for viewing the landscapes all around. The pool is built into the raised terrace area that can be entered from the sitting room or the open plan kitchen corridor. Often villas have many steps to reach their pool, but not ours as it’s on the level. Outside you have use of small tables, 6 sun loungers, parasols and a Weber gas BBQ for your enjoyment. The pool terrace has large table and dining chairs with aliminium shade cover, wonderful on hot days. A terrace has been built over the drive, accessed by the pool, with two 3 seater sofa set. Inside the property is another flight of stairs that takes you to a private bedroom suite. Please note this area is locked off and neither rented out or used by anyone when rental guests are in occupation. The guest bedrooms can either be accessed by using the bridge which joins the raised pool terrace to the large bedroom terrace or of course, inside the villa. There is a further table, sofa, arm chairs and stools. There are two bedroom suites – one with a king size bed, dressing table/mirror and 32" LCD TV with UK TV. There is a spacious bathroom with twin sinks, large walk in shower and WC. On entry to the master suite you will find a large section of wardrobes one housing a digital safe. In the twin bedroom there is a large wardrobe, 32" LCD TV with UK TV, dressing table/mirror. The twin ensuite has a large walk in shower, bidet, WC and sink. Both bathrooms have large curved chrome towel radiators. The fixtures in the bathrooms are a very high standard and even have a Braun toothbrush charger. The twin room, like the master has solid oak furniture and high quality mattresses with Egyptian cotton linen as well as Egyptian cotton towels and pool towels. There is an extra garden sofa, 2 armchairs for use on the outside if wished. Both bedrooms have large patio doors. Overall, this property is ideal in location, being less than a 2 minute stroll to our closest restaurant/10 minutes to the beach, villa stunning in design and quality furnishings. (Note from time to time our car is left covered on the drive, not for guest use, however, still room for another couple of cars behind).
Pool heating as we are only now renting high season we have removed pool heating as option. Therefore SORRY, but there is no heating for any high season rentals.
PLEASE BE AWARE - It is possible some building works may be taking place during summer 2025 near Casa Tranquila. Feel free to ask for an update as works are due to commence September 2024. We are informed no building August. See final photos on platform.
If you have toddlers likely to climb around the walls of the pool terrace, this property may be a safety risk due to its raised terraces.
Please check with owner for SUNDAY entry/exit as these are difficult to accommodate and could involve extra cleaning charges payable on top of the quoted price.
We can accommodate 2 babies/children by requesting a travel cot or camp bed, which the renter would be responsible for payment of in addition to the general rental price. Over and above the cot/bed rental we will charge £20 per week cover towels, pillow if required and extra utilities/cleaning. Renter will need to supply bed linen.
