MYHIDEAWAY is a spacious, much enjoyed, modern well furnished, and fully equipped, 2 bedroom apartment in a small block of 12 privately owned apartments. Found in a quiet cul-de-sac in the centre of the old village of Peyia Within 5 mins walk there are 6/7 good local tavernas to choose from, each with different menus and atmospheres. We have a well maintained COMMUNAL POOL and private parking under the apartments with a lift to both floors. Dual A/C - heating throughout. FREE WiFi MYHIDEAWAY is a bright and airy open plan living/dining/kitchen area, with plenty of space for the whole family (child friendly) to be comfortable, This leads onto a large furnished patio area, with table and chairs for your alfresco living style. You sit and enjoy the sun while someone else prepares the BBQ. With a distant sea view.There is a quiet well maintained communal pool enjoyed by all ages often you would find yourselves the only people there. Just like having a villa then. BEDROOMS A/C unit for cool or heat The bedrooms can be arranged as required either a luxury superking sized bed with memory foam matress topper, or comfy twin beds in the main bedroom which also opens out onto the patio. The second bedroom has twin beds which can be pushed together if required. There is also a good quality fold up bed and an air bed if required this can be used where ever is convenient to you .
Both bedrooms have a bedside table and lamp, plenty of wardrobe and storage space.
FAMILY BATHROOM The bathroom has a white suite, full length bath with shower.
There are plenty of authentic local traditional tavernas within easy walking distance of the apartment to try out for your evening adventures Your shopping can be done on foot with a fruit market and small superstore just around the corner and a larger supermarket a little further up the road. be carefull when entering the local bakery there are so many tempting goodies to choose from. The village also has 2 banks, a chemist and butchers. Plus a variety of other shops. Close to Peyia 5 mins drive is Coral Bay blue flag beach beautifully sandy and safe for swimming especially for little ones Agios Georgious a lovely little harbour area with spectacular rock formations, is about 15 mins drive and then the Akamas Peninsular with its amazing natural beauty, incorporating Lara Bay where in the summer turtles lay their eggs. Try a jeep safari, or try quad biking, or hire a 4 x 4 to see the full extent of the area.Paphos town is 20 mins drive, wonder along the harbour area, and visit the world UNESCO Archaelogical Park with fantastic mosaics. Also the fort area.Walking away from the harbour you pass the catacombes lite up at night and then wonder on to Pania Chrysopolotissa. St Pauls Pillar where it is legend that St Paul was flogged. Archaelogical sites are also found at the Tomb of the Kings, between Peyia and Paphos, there are many hitorical sites to visit. Don't miss a rummage around the market area in Paphos town you could get lost, see the incredible fruit market too best to go in the mornings.Plenty of opportunity for water sports of all types including the much enjoyed water park in Paphos book before you go it's cheaperTake a trip north from Peyia up to Polis and then along to Latchi harbour, and Aphrodite area. You can walk along the coast between Polis and Latchi then sample a superb fish dish before wondering back again.Do visit some of the villages and see the real Cyprus often you will find local crafts, and great tavernas.Mount Olympus and the Akamas Peninsular are great for walking or biking expeditions especially in the winter/spring time with the flowers.Paphos is the place to go at night if you want the night clubs along bar street, or Coral Bay is nearer, but Peyia has plenty of fantistic tavernas and its own Jail Pub (yes it was the jail)You can ski in the morning and sit on the beach in the afternoon is what they say about Jan/Feb/ March visit to CyprusThe apartment is so well located that it is no distance to drive to any of these attractions.For golfers there are 4 courses within 40 mins drive. The newest being Elena just the other side of Paphos the oldest just renamed as Minthis Hills in Tsada just outside the village wonderful views here and Secret Valley. I have played these two, both have there golfing challenges. Water sports aer numerous, including also a waterpark not far from PeyiaPlenty of sea trips from paphos or Polis and LatchiDivers have the choice of Paphos or Latchi each with a school and power diving available.
