Anchor Warehouse is a contemporary renovation of an old warehouse positioned at the head of the Penryn River. This stunning Grade II listed property has been developed into several high-end luxury apartments, yet the charm of the original warehouse exterior still remains. Reinvented with a private cobbled terrace and uninterrupted views across the wharf.

Engineered wood flooring and high ceilings instantly create a stylish and slick atmosphere, and welcome guests into the main heart of the property.

The large open plan living space comprises of the main lounge area, a contemporary kitchen, and the dining area. Guests will be instantly impressed by the remaining original features that add bags of character and the warm neutral tones throughout. Along the exterior walls of the property is the exposed brickwork and this adds texture and warmth to the room, while two large window seats overlooking the water are an inviting spot to take a moment of rest and watch the swans on the water.

The living area is positioned toward the rear of the space, and here you will find two large sofas. Cosy evenings in together can be enjoyed here where the large arched windows frame a pretty evening view over the wharf and the buildings opposite, as lights flicker on the surface of the water.

The kitchen area promises not to disappoint, you will find everything they need in this super stylish and contemporary space. The kitchen comes equipped with a tall fridge/freezer, double oven, and a dishwasher.

The dining area is a pleasant space in which to entertain and spend quality time with loved ones. However, with a fabulous restaurant opposite the property in Jubilee Wharf offering a varied menu and stunning harbour views, guests may find the temptation to dine out all too much!

There's no better place to enjoy a relaxing late afternoon than out on the private terrace. This fabulous little suntrap is accessed via double doors from the living area and provides a lovely space to relax and unwind in the warm Cornish sun. Outdoor seating and a table let guests share a drink and perhaps a game of cards, before heading into Falmouth for the night - or alternatively to enjoy a coffee and breakfast in the early morning.

The master suite oozes opulence and style with elegant furnishings and artwork. The exposed brickwork frames a wonderful window seat, so guests can enjoy sharing a lie-in with views of the water. The king-sized bed fitted with quality bed linen ensures a deep restful sleep, with the soundtrack of the water outside.

The spacious en-suite shower room has underfloor heating and stunning floor to ceiling tiles frame more exposed brickwork, and the stylish shower and basin are in keeping with the high-end finish of the apartment.

Bedroom two features twin single beds and another large, arched window with water views. This tranquil and restful space is equally as charming and slick as the master suite, and the crisp white bed linen invites guests to enjoy a comfortable night's sleep.

Across the hallway is the family bathroom which features a deep bath, walk-in shower, WC and hand basin, heated floor and towel rails, and ambient lighting.

Guests will also find a useful walk-in cupboard with ample storage for belongings and a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer accessed via the hallway.

Penryn is a truly exciting spot to escape to, with several intriguing boutique shops and amazing links to Truro and Falmouth via train and bus. Falmouth is just a short drive away and offers guests the chance to explore further into the historic, marine setting of this harbour town and is home to the National Maritime Museum. With an abundance of boutique shops, cafe's bars, and restaurants, plus local beaches, there's something for everyone. Sea ferries depart from its docks daily, linking guests with access to the quaint villages of St Mawes and Flushing.

If you are after a slightly more active break, then there is a fabulous selection of water sports activities available from Falmouth's beaches, including surfboard and paddleboard hire.

Anchor Warehouse is truly a one-of-a-kind property, offering a luxurious and stylish place to call home for a fabulous Cornish getaway
