Conveniently located in the peaceful village of Kourkoumelata just 10 minutes from the airport and the capital Argostoli, only a few minutes from beaches and taverners. For those who have not been to Kefalonia, it is a fantastic place to visit offering something for everyone. The scenery right across the island is stunning. There are many historical sites and beautiful fishing villages to visit - perhaps to enjoy a meal in a seafront taverna, and of course the capital Argostoli, where cosmopolitan shops meet local character. Whilst the village of Kourkoumelata is small and peaceful, it does have a mini market and and a grill bar with further shops, a bakery and further tavernas in the nearby village of Lakithra, just 1 kilometre away.

The villa provides an ideal setting for a luxury family holiday, honeymooners and couples with 3 lovely furnished bedrooms each with their own en suite. The kitchen is equipped to professional standard., the living area has a fantastic selection of leather and dark wood furnishings. The pool is simply stunning...and there is ample comfortable pool side furniture. Enjoy the pleasures of the outside BBQ, while taking in the breathtaking sunsets. A great villa to rent. The villa is available from April to October where the weather is very pleasant during this time.

Should Villa Flora be booked we also have another property in the lovely village of Kaligata just mins from Flora of exactly the same specification, detail and stunning views and once again a great beautiful place to stay .

Kourkoumelata Village is famous as one of the most historical and beautiful villages on the island of Kefalonia. With exceptional views of the Ionian Sea, the Islet of Dias and the coastline of the Livathos area the village is conveniently located just a few minutes drive from the superb sandy beaches of Avithos, St Hellis and Ammes and ten minutes drive from the cosmopolitan capital of the island, Argostoli.

The village hosts a number of cultural and musical events throughout the summer months at the beautiful Neoclassical cultural centre, and community life is based around the friendly Marina Café Bar. The village also benefits from being close to the villages of Lakithra and Svoronata which offer a choice of tavernas, restaurants and cafes as well as mini-markets and a bakery.

Why can't I call John & Claire (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send John & Claire (the owner) a message.

If John & Claire (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
