Paradise found. Looking for the convenience of self-catering with all the luxuries of a five-star resort? Look no further than Maison 199. With its spacious interiors and stunning position on the beach, this tropical gem will make all your island dreams come true.

The generously proportioned ground floor is wonderful for relaxing and entertaining. Immaculately decorated lounge, dining and kitchen areas open directly onto a veranda that spans the full façade of the house, offering you magnificent views from every corner.

This is the place to enjoy the delights of the island life: breakfast al fresco while you watch a pair of eagle rays frolic in the turquoise ocean below, then take a swim in your sparkling private pool before strolling to the beach. While Anse Bernik is directly in front of you, it is just one of four private beaches on Eden Island – Anse Tec Tec and Anse Bernitier are a short walk (or EPV-ride) away. And all offer superb swimming, snorkeling and fly fishing.

For those who love to cook, the kitchen is fully equipped with state-of-the-art Miele appliances and there is a Weber gas barbecue. Modern conveniences include washing machine and tumble dryer, and the Maison has satellite TV, ceiling fans and air-conditioning.

Upstairs you will find three gorgeous double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and separate WC. The master suite opens onto an enormous balcony with comfortable armchairs and sun loungers from which you can enjoy beautiful vistas of the Indian Ocean and Mahe's lush mountains. A perfect location for sundowners. The third bedroom has views to the island of St Anne.

The Maison comes complete with an Electrically Powered Vehicle (EPV)/golf buggy that's ideal for zipping off to Eden Plaza for shopping and restaurants, to the spa for a massage, or to the boardwalk for cocktails and a spot of super-yacht watching.

Maison 199 is ideal for friends, a family, or a romantic couple seeking more space and privacy than a hotel room or apartment.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Stefania (the owner) a message.

If Stefania (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
