Spacious comfortable self-catering accommodation, ideal for families, large groups etc.

Set in an idyllic location approximately 2.5 miles from the seaside town of Ballycastle and 10 miles from the world famous Gaints Causeway, Forestsidehouse (and Cottage) offers the perfect base for exploring all of the attractions of the North Antrim and causeway coasts. Forestside House and Cottage have ample off-road parking, private gardens, play area for children, clean and comfortable accommodation. Nearby activities include: horse riding; golf; sailing; secluded forest walks and many more.

Forestside House and Cottage provides the perfect location for exploring Northern Ireland's many Game of Thrones filming sites.

Towels are provided for a small fee as part of our laundry contract (guests are encouraged to bring their own);

Electricity and heating is metered at local rates and payable on check-out. This is so that we can keep our running costs low and lower the price per night - it would be unfair to charge inclusively for heating and electricity for those guests who make the most of the location and barely spend time in the house.

Pets are welcome at £10pn.

House keys are to be left in the key press, in case any maintenance needs attention while guests are out.

We had a fab time staying here, we booked the house and the cottage, so we had plenty off room for everyone, it was lovely and quiet, everyone had a great time and we have now booked it for next year.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lisa and Adam (the owner) a message.

If Lisa and Adam (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
