Villa Ravello Grecamore offers a comfortable stay on the Costiera Amalfitana (Amalfi Coast). With spacious accommodation, outside spaces and with fabulous views. Sleeps 8-10 comfortably, perfect for families and groups of friends. One of the outstanding features is that all main rooms and outside spaces have wonderful sea views over the Bay of Salerno. The accommodation includes: large lounge/dining room; 5 bedrooms (2 x double bed, 1 x twin single, 2 x single); 3 bathrooms. The kitchen is fitted with all appliances. Both the lounge/diner and kitchen have access to a large terrace, perfect for breakfast and al-fresco dining/evening relaxation. Many enjoy just sitting on the swing-seat and admiring the view. A true anti-stress remedy. The garden level includes sun terraces and rustic garden areas where many trees, plants and herbs are grown. There is a small pool ideal for some water fun for younger guests - adults also allowed!. Within the property is a secure garage for 1-2 small/medium sized cars (or 1 people carrier-sized). Overall approx 250 m2 + outside space. The views from the villa itself and all around Ravello - over the sea or inland to the next valley - are truly stunning. The hillsides are covered in terraces that form the famous lemon groves of the Amalfi region. Visible from the terrace are the coastal towns/bays of Minori and Maiori, the hamlet of Torello and the main Amalfi Coast Road. The coast road running from Sorento to Salerno is considered one of the best drives in the world (see National Geographic, TripAdvisor, etc). The next best way to experience this road is by local bus. The skill of the bus drivers will amaze.Ravello is a wonderful place to visit for music lovers with the annual Ravello Festival held in the grounds of the palatial Villa Rufolo. The main stage is built so it appears to suspend using the coastline as a dramatic back drop.Walkers can enjoy the many tracks, routes and steps that take in some spectacular scenery either on the way down the sea or up the hillsides to ancient churches or monasteries. Many steps are the original routes for travelling around the 'Costiera'.The town of Ravello, being set up from the main coast road, retains a more tranquil atmosphere compared to the other towns on the Amalfi Coast. Many traditional activities continue such as lemon cultivation, decorated ceramics and simple fruit/vegetable cultivation. Everywhere you will see fruit trees, grape vines and many different vegetables. Now, with the main road, all the nearby historical sites such as Pompeii and other towns on the Coast are easily reached. Ravello, whilst being conveniently set apart, is in no-way isolated.Villa Ravello Grecamore has been family owned for almost 50 years. Initially acquired when the only access were steps from the town square, it has be extended and improved over the years. Fully owner-managed and primarily offered on a self catering basis. An informal in-home cook service can be provided for occasional evenings meals for an authentic Italian dining experience. Meals are prepared in the home using local ingredients/recipes.
