The 'Art and Bike' is a very stylish downtown studio flat with easy access to public transport facilities. The apartment serves as a painter's studio and the walls are adorned with the most recent paintings of the artist. The apartment is highly recommended to guests who appreciate a place with a truly unique appearance and feel. Suitable for 4 people (2 + 2). You can use the free bicycles!

The apartment:
This fully renovated air-conditioned apartment is situated on the 3rd floor of a classic (100 year old) building. The flat boasts a fully equipped open kitchen with a sizable granite counter in the middle. The living room layout is very easily customizable thanks to the fold-out furniture. The living room opens to a cozy bedroom (with double bed) with a balcony with street views.
The apartment has a fully equipped bathroom with shower, separate toilet and a laundry room.

Transportation:
Very easy access (walking distance) to various public transport options to choose from. The apartment is two minutes away from the subways (Line 3) and 4-5 minutes away from the Danube boat stops (allowing for leisurely travel on the river Danube between North and South). In the immediate vicinity of the building is a bus stop as well. (Trolley No. 75) On foot, it is a 25 minute pleasant walk to get to the city center (all along the river Danube).
Upon request bikes can be provided. By bike it takes about 6-8 minutes to get to the city center (bicycle routes nearby).

Location & amenities:
A restaurant can be found on the ground level of the building, so for fine lunch or dinner all you need to do is to walk down the stairs. In the vicinity there are several food stores some of which are open 24 Hours a day. As mentioned earlier the apartment is just minutes from the river Danube along which run a pedestrian-only walking path and and bicycle routes. Easy access to the famous Margaret Island just across the river. Margaret Island boasts lush parks, a public swimming pool, restaurants and bars an open-air theatre and running tracks (all around the Island) for sport enthusiasts. In addition there is safe playground for young children in the park just next to the building.

Why can't I call Akos (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Akos (the owner) a message.

If Akos (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
