Tropical Hideaway is a luxurious and very private property, consisting of five boutique accommodations surrounded by vibrant and mature tropical gardens. Set in over 4 acres of pristine natural forest all accommodations offer private facilities to the highest of standards including beautiful verandas with views that will literally take your breath away. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and luxuriously appointed and well laid out kitchens allow you the convenience of preparing your own meals.

Specializing in couples and small groups, Tropical Hideaway can accommodate from 2 to 12 guests in what many say are the finest accommodations on Bequia with the finest views on Bequia. All are available to rent either individually or as a collective group and our prices are always highly competitive.

We offer an informal, private and relaxed atmosphere and pride ourselves with our genuine friendly service and the experience we afford our guests.

Tropical Hideaway Pool House is a beautiful and very unique property offering a combination of luxury, privacy, space and affordability that is hard to come by these days. The accommodation is very cleverly designed and utilises the massive pool patio and the steps leading up to the main villa as it's roof. It measures over 20m (65') long and has a 2nd open plan mezzanine bedroom with a lovely vaulted ceiling. The Pool House has large double patio doors with covered veranda's and lovely sea views at both ends of the property.

The Northern aspect has lovely views looking over Admiralty Bay, the natural forested hills and the tropical gardens. This is where the main bedroom is located. Another open plan bedroom utilises a large mezzanine area which is reached from the curved steps by the kitchen. This second bedroom allows the property to be used by a family or by friends who wish to share. Both bedrooms have quality ceiling fans and air conditioners and can be screened off from the rest of the house by curtains if additional privacy is required. The prevailing tropical breeze wonders through the house and out through the South facing patio doors which have a beautiful view overlooking the Caribbean Sea and the rugged coastline. Sunsets from here can be lovely.

The accommodation is reached from the Pool Bar steps and once entered you cannot fail to be impressed. A large, spacious, fully functioning kitchen, complete with a full size range cooker, large Belfast sink, American style fridge freezer with icemaker, washing machine and dining table use just a small area of the property. Two open plan bedrooms and a very large general relaxation and seating area utilise the rest.

A large en-suite shower room and toilet compliments the property and this has been finished to a very high standard using natural coral stone tiles. The walk through shower is huge and is finished in natural stone pebble and coral. A complimentary range of organic bathroom toiletries are provided, together with top quality luxury bath linen, bath robes and pool towels.

Tropical Hideaway has an 18m (58') wide panoramic Infinity Pool and is often quoted as being one of the top ten pools in the Caribbean. The Infinity Pool is stunning and with the environmentally friendly solar heating, the pool can be enjoyed at all times of the year. Typically our daytime pool temperatures are around 33 deg C in summer and 29 deg C in Winter. That’s an amazing 94 deg F falling to a very inviting 84 deg F in winter. The extra 3 degrees C created by our solar heating can make an enormous difference to your enjoyment of the pool. There is a swim up sunken Pool Bar, complete with fridge, ice-maker, blender and sink, a preparation and serving area and a generous supply of acrylic beverage glasses. Adjoining the pool is a Gazebo complete with a large daybed and the views from here are just incredible. A perfect place to relax and read a book or simply enjoy the spectacular scenery. Sun loungers, sunbathing mats, parasols and chairs provide ample relaxation areas around the pool. A cooling Caribbean breeze is usually present and the Gazebo and large parasols provide areas of shade for the hottest part of the day. Please note the large Infinity Pool together with the Gazebo, pool patio and barbecue area are shared by any guests in residence.

The latest High-Tech Samsung 40” internet TV gives access to our in-house entertainment system supplying high definition films, TV, music and Internet radio. Usb charging points are supplied and high speed Wi-Fi is available throughout.

All indoor living areas and bedrooms are fully screened allowing you the convenience of a mosquito free environment. We take very seriously our guests health and well being and having a screened and mosquito free environment should be an important factor when choosing your holiday accommodation. At Tropical Hideaway you can sleep soundly at night safe in the knowledge that there are no biting insects or mosquito's in your room.

How do damage deposits work?
