The Coach House is a meticulously renovated 18th century stable block nestled in the spectacular

valley of the River Nore, one mile away from the beautiful village of Inistioge. The property extends to over 3000 sq. ft. The property is Failte Ireland registered and has been awarded 4 stars. It is in a private & secluded courtyard setting, but with close access to plenty of local facilities in nearby Thomastown

(3m) and Kilkenny (12m).

The property itself has been lovingly restored to the highest specifications with hand-crafted oak

woodwork and natural stone throughout. Clean, light and spacious, it sleeps 8-10 people in two

king-sized double bedrooms, a twin and a master bedroom with king-sized bed, an en suite

bathroom and a balcony overlooking the valley.

An extensively equipped kitchen, including a broad range of herbs and spices, opens out onto a

breakfast patio which overlooks the private garden. There is a downstairs shower room, a utility

room with a washer and drier, and a large conservatory that leads to the two vaulted downstairs

bedrooms. Upstairs, the comfortably furnished sitting room has a wood burning stove and a

selection of DVDs and Cds as well as satellite television and WIFI.

All duvets, bed clothes and towels are inclusive, as are firewood and oil.

There are 4 bedrooms (sleeps 8-11). The main bedroom has a king size bed and ensuite. Two of the other bedrooms have king size beds and optional single bed and sofa bed. The forth bedroom has 2 single beds. There are 2 family bathrooms, a large kitchen, sitting room, and conservatory. The house has its own private parking and private garden.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Daniel (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
