We are located in a small hamlet in the heart of rolling countryside, and are ideally situated to explore the varied and beautiful attractions of the Charente maritime and Bordeaux region which enjoys a lovely warm sunny climate, great food and great local wines and cognac. If you enjoy outdoor pursuits then you can fish, swim, cycle or meander around the quite country roads in the area. The nearest beach is St george De Didonne about 30 minutes by car. Golf is also available at Golf courses nearby and there are many more attractions situated locally. The Zoo in Palmyre is a must see for it varied animals and the seal and walrus show. We are only 8 km from the pretty market town of Mirambeau, which provides full amenities including a petrol station, banks and supermarkets. Mirambeau also has a beautiful chateau/5 star hotel and several bars, restaurants and shops. We are 3 kilometers from St Ciers du Taillon which has the best Boulangerie and several local shops, bar and restaurants. Chez Nous is a charming two hundred year old, lovely stone farmhouse with wood beams and exposed stone work, beautifully renovated into a 5-bedroomed luxury villa for up to 10 people and an adjoining apartment for additional room if required by larger groups of 12.The house is set in a fantastic large garden with mature walnut and cherry trees, overlooking fields of sunflowers, wheat, corn, vines, and woodland. The location is an easy to get to rural location and close to lots of different amenities .

The accommodation consists of a large semi open plan living room, kitchen, and dining room with large Charentaise Fireplace, 5 bedrooms, three en-suites and a family bathroom, a downstairs shower room, with basin and WC. The ensuites all have basin, WC and shower. The family bathroom also has a bath. The main house accomodates up to 10 in 5 bedrooms. There are two adjoining apartments one of which is reserved for the caretaker and the other is available to accomodate an extra 2 to 4 people as it contains a double bedroom and a living dining room with a double couch bed.Living room. Large spacious room with TV, DVD player, british free to view satellite dish, french free to view chanels are available also, a large sofa and occasional chairs, doors leading to two terraces which between them have all day sun, ideal for alfresco meals. Lovely beamed rooms. Kitchen. This room is also beamed.The kitchen is fitted with, washing machine, cooker, micro wave, toaster, kettle, all cutlery, and crockery, pots and pans, sink etc. There is a table and chairs in the kitchen to seat up to 6 people. The dining room has seating for 8 people and the main terrace has seating for up to 12 people.Games room with table tennis table and various games. Bikes available for use at your own risk.Bedroom 1. Double with ensuite, bedside cabinets and walk in wardrobe. This room is downstairs. Bedroom 2. Double with ensuite, wardrobe, and bedside cabinet Bedroom 3. Apologies for the pool heater, a small circulation pump for the hot water was failing intermittently and was not discovered until August. this pump has been replaced and a backup heater has been installed.
