Nestled in the heart of the Kent countryside, this fabulously restored listed barn dates to the mid-19th Century. Together with the 'cow shed', it forms a luxury holiday let with accommodation for up to 12 guests (contact us to discuss requests for 14 guests).

The Barn at Green Farm is ideal for family get-togethers, special occasions, sophisticated group celebrations, and spa and activity weekends. There are five bedrooms. the three ground floor en-suite rooms (including one with full wheelchair access) all have 6ft wide super-king double beds. The two upstairs bedrooms, on the mezzanine overlooking the sitting room, have three 3ft single beds and share an en-suite bathroom. It is possible to alter the layout of the beds if desired. A second recreation room can be made up as a 6th bedroom with a super-king double and it's own shower facilities.

The barn has a large vaulted open-plan sitting room with log-burning stove, a modern, well-equipped kitchen (including a range, American fridge/freezer and two dishwashers), a dining table for 14, a family bathroom and a large garden room with large French windows opening onto the patio and secluded courtyard.

Whether you’re looking forward to evenings by the log burner, or would like a more active break, we can help you to create a bespoke experience. Spend time in our boutique spa, take part in a yoga or pilates class, enjoy a local wine tour, book our in-house private chef for a meal to savour; speak to us about personalising your stay.

The Barn at Green Farm is the perfect base from which to explore the local area. Walk, run or enjoy bike rides in our 33 acres of meadows, wooded pasture and ancient woodland. Wildlife abounds including deer in the woods, nightingales in spring, bats and owls in the evenings. Stray a little further and you will find castles, gardens, cathedrals, market towns and beaches within a short drive. Tenterden is just 10 minutes away and Rye is only 20. The Designer Outlet Centre in Ashford provides great shopping opportunities. The local pub, which is a five-minute walk, has twice been named Shepherd Neame ‘Food Pub of the Year’.

Green Farm is a small working farm actively following regenerative farming practices and you’re welcome to visit and even help with the farm animals, depending on the season and the farming activity. Our free-range chicken eggs, vegetables and meat are offered for sale, subject to availability.

Third visit - still fabulous!

We have just had our third visit to Green Farm Barn and have already booked our fourth. We really don't think it can be bettered for our annual girls (and dogs) weekend away. Roll on May 2020!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Martin (the owner) a message.

If Martin (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
