From the owner

Located very close to a long, sandy beach, Hibiscus Cottage offers the perfect base for a beach holiday. It is ideal for families as the location is very safe, away from roads and traffic. The complex features large communal gardens adjacent to the beach, a small playground and eating area, as well as its own section of beach for residents (complete with sunloungers and sunshades). Closeby is an excellent beach restaurant which offers reasonably priced meals and free wifi. A selection of watersports are less than 50m along the beach, so children of all ages can enjoy parasailing, jet skis and banana boats. The house is also idea for independent travellers who like to be close to activities and places of interest, but removed from other tourists. It is ideal for those who want to experience living in a traditional style of house, rather than the many impersonal apartments further from the sea. There is also no need for a car, although car hire can be arranged during your stay and there is a car park on site. There is a local dolmus (small bus) station within a 10 minute walk, and shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Airport transfers are recommended for the ease of travelling door to door.

The house features two bedrooms, a lounge and dining area, a fully furnished kitchen and bathroom. There is a roof terrace with sea views, a second terrace, and a patio area leading from the kitchen. There are two sun loungers with mattreses, and also a large outdoor dining table, chairs and sunshade. There is also a small garden to the front of the house, with roses, hibiscus, jasmine and bougonvillia plants. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas oven/hob, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, crockery and utensils. There is a washing machine, drying rack, iron and ironing board. The bathroom features a corner bath with jacuzzi, shower, toilet and sink. The main bedroom has a balcony, two beds, a ceiling fan, air-conditioning, a wardrobe and bedside tables. The second bedroom has one single bed, air-conditioning and a set of drawers. The lounge is also air-conditioned and may be converted to be a third bedroom with a double sofa bed. Curtains to separate from the living area and there is a selection of books at your disposal. In the winter, the air-conditioning units can be turned to heat, and there is a log fire in the living room.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Fiona (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
