Corner Barn sleeps up to 9 people.

Rated 4 stars with visit England, Corner barn is extremely spacious and comfortable with underfloor heating, a log burner and ensuite bathrooms.

Corner has a king sized bedroom downstairs with ensuite wet room, perfect for those in your group less steady on their feet. This bedroom is also wheelchair accessible. Upstairs you will find a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (shower, toilet and sink), a triple bedroom (3 single beds) again with ensuite shower room. An additional 2 guests can be accommodated on the bed on the private mezzanine floor, this can either be set up as a super kingsized bed or as 2 single beds.

The living area comprises of a large kitchen dining room, the table can seat your entire group. The kitchen has am electric hob and oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, fridge as well as all the kitchen essentials.

The large sitting room with vaulted ceiling and mezzanine gallery has 2 very large sofas and 2 comfy arm chairs. There is a TV with DVD player and a selection of DVDs for you to use. Next to the log burner is a basket of logs and more can be found in the courtyard garden.

There is also a large entrance hall, which has a separate toilet room.

Amenities include under floor heating, wood burning stove, satellite TV, wi-fi broadband internet access.

There will be a welcome basket containing milk, juice, tea, coffee, homemade jam or marmalade, sugar etc in the barn when you arrive.

Outside there is a table and chairs in the beautiful courtyard garden with barbeque facilities available. The open barn in the courtyard contains games like table tennis and mini golf as well as buckets and spades for the beach. Please note that although the garden area is fully enclosed, it is shared between all 3 holiday cottages and is screens from the other barns by plants and pergolas. We ask that if you are bringing a dog with you that you pop it on its lead if our other guests are outside as not everyone likes dogs as much as we do.

There is allocated parking on the drive for 3 to 4 cars for Corner barn. As the drive is shared with the other holiday cottage we ask that you bare this in mind when deciding on car arrangements as our road is too narrow to park on.

Church Farm Barns is in the tiny hamlet of Wickmere lost in remote and tranquil north Norfolk countryside. We welcome dogs. The area has walks out across the fields to stately homes such as Wolterton and Mannington the homes of the Walpole family and the National Trust properties of Blickling and Felbrigg. We are just seven miles from the fabulous North Norfolk coast and a similar distance from the Broads National Park. Twenty miles to the south is the medieval cathedral city of Norwich with vibrant arts and entertainment scene as well as being one of the top shopping centres in the country. The nearby market towns of Holt, Aylsham and North Walsham provide a shopping experience out of the 1950s and 60s.

House rules

We are very child friendly and can provide cots, high chairs, stair gates, baby bath etc. on request. There are games and toys both inside and outside for children of all ages and a range of dvds to keep everyone happy!
We allow 2 dogs per barn, cats are also welcome but you must let us know if you are planning on bringing a pet with you.
We do sometimes allow parties, but only if you rent all 3 of the barns, please ask us for details.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Louise (the owner) a message.

If Louise (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
