From the owner

Villa Sole is bright and colorful – you will enjoy its functional design and lots of light provided by the large windows overlooking the pool and the garden. In front of the villa is a brand new 6x4 m private pool.The garden is loaned with swings in one part of it, in the other part of the garden is a little cottage with a fire place used for barbeque parties during the Winter. In the Summer this is a playroom with a football table. There is a built in barbeque in the garden outside the cottage.

Marcana is a little town with great position close to the airport of Pula. The property is 10 minutes drive away from the airport and 15 minutes drive away from the center of Pula. It is in a private location 100 m away from the road that runs through the town dividing it in two parts. In the other part which is 10 minutes walk away from the property is the centre with shops , bars, post office and bank. Also, for a very good restaurant you don't have to drive long – restaurant Luna is only 5 minutes drive away from the property as well as restaurant Vesna whose owners produce delicious Istrian cheese.

The interior consists of a little ante room entered through the front door off which is a hall with doors to the bedrooms, living room and bathrooms. There are 2 bedrooms, both double, with a single bed in the larger double bedroom. Between the rooms is a separate wardrobe. The villa has one shower room with washing machine and wc and one bathroom with a corner bath, 2 wash basins and wc.

The air-conditioned living room with Sat TV and DVD is spacious - open plan to the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is modern, fully equipped with ceramic cooker, oven, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge with a freezer. The door from the living room open to the spacious terrace with comfortable garden furniture for enjoying the views and relaxing by the pool. Next to the cottage is also a garage which is kept locked during the Summer.

To explore the Istrian peninsula a beginning of the motorway is 10 minutes drive away. From here you can easily reach all beautiful towns in Istria within 20-40 minutes drive. The nearest attractions to the villa are Pula old center with beautiful Roman remains and National park Brijuni, 25 minutes drive away. You need to book in advance a boat trip for an organised tour to this beautiful island where peacoks and wild animals roam freely in the rich nature.

The nearest beach to the property is in Duga Uvala, 15 minutes drive away, or you can visit one of the beautiful beaches in Pula – 20 minutes drive away. Pula has very good gastronomic scene and it abounds with excellent restaurants both in the very centre and surrounding areas.

Note: Property is divided in two parts. One part of the land is for the guests with the villa. The other part of the land with separate entrance has an apartment where owner of the villa (my brother) lives. This apartment is very close to the house, so the owner is close for any assistance the guest could need, but doesn't get in contact unless he is called to help.
