Whether you are looking for peaceful countryside retreats, Villa Romao is one of these. It is a beautiful restored villa typical of the Algarve (Portugal), a peaceful rustic farmhouse can be found in rural surroundings (natural park Natura 2000) some eight kilometers from the market town of Loulé and short drive from the beaches. Villa Romao offers a very considerable privacy, it can be booked on a villa only bases, allowing you to tailor your ideal family holiday. There is an orchard of orange trees, a vineyard and olive grove, plus the remaining 3500 meters of an original Roman road from which this lovely villa's name derives.

A splendidly unique lounge was once an stable, the dining room next door has an attractive low timber ceiling and a corner chimney and the kitchen is well equipped. A pretty twin bedroom with air-conditioning has wooden beams and a countryside view whilst a tastefully furnished double faces the swimming pool. The double bedroom has with air-conditioning as well, and a spectacular view to the swimming pool. The grounds are no less appealing with an original covered well and an oak tree that guards the drive. There is a strip of lawn beside the veranda, where you will find one of the barbecues, a second one being situated on the terraced surrounds of the swimming pool.

The villa follows strictly the Clean & Safe Internal Protocol designed and implemented according to WHO-The World Health Organization, Turismo de Portugal and DGS-The Portuguese General Health Authority recommendations and orientations.

She also suggest things to do in the Algarve and recommend places to go. There are many information available in the villa about tourist attractions. The owner also suggests places to visit in the Algarve, restaurants, wine routes, activities to do and provide the cultural agenda of the region. The Algarve has always many interesting activities to do and places to go!!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
