New high standard residence with superb views on the marina, 56 sq m. At 800 m from the beach and close to a small shopping mall you find in this residence a big outdoor pool, play area for the children in its big Mediterranean gardens. The apartment has two big terraces, one north, one south all with view on the marina, sea, gardens. All the necessary equipment for a fine week holiday in the superb Catalan region. TV DVD, books, CD, fully equipped new kitchen.
The Tourism office, located in St Cyprien port, provides maps and extensive information on local attractions. Lots of Maps, info, books, restaurant, farms, bioculture, wine trails etc. in apt.
Heaters and oiled filled radiators throughout the apartment. fans for warmer weather. Vacuum cleaner, brush, cloths cleaning agents, iron, ironing board are all supplied. There is a 3G signal available for Orange users in the apartment for Internet although free connections are also available in local cafe, 2mins.
There are well maintained communal gardens, shared swimming pool, and outside showers. The beach can be accessed through the Les Capellans areas. The centre Commercial is 2mins.In summer season there is a Casino supermarket there, fishmonger, butcher, cheese shop, bakery, greengrocer, wine by the bathtub if you wish-or the bottle- easier to carry. Daily made food specials by the various food shops, including Catalan paella. The 1 euro bus is right by this area and will whisk you away to Collioure (in season) or to Perpignan for a day's outing and/or the summer Festivals.
Many local restaurants and bars. Casinos. (good restaurants at some of the Casinos).
St Cyprien enjoys an average of 300 days of sunshine a year.
Many water based sports are available, including sailing, Kite surfing, Scuba diving, snorkeling, surfing, sailboarding, water skiing. Tennis, squash and badminton courts at La Grande Stade Sports Stadium, just a short walk away. There is also a fitness centre. Les Jardins des Plantes Botanical Gardens offer a pleasant walk at any time of the year. Local attractions include Aqualand waterpark for children and adults, Sigean African Reserve, Golf, horseriding, cycling (bike hire available) and hiking. Sea and fresh water lake swimming. Bird watching. Animal reserves- Segean. Mountain spas, Le Petit train Jaune for a breathtaking high altitude train ride.In the general area, a car journey will have you soaking up the history, art and culture of this interesting part of France.
Cathar castles and villages about 1-15 hrs including Carcassonne. Spain 40 mins, Cadaques about 1 hr via the Autoroutes then local roads.

The Cerdagne & Font Romeu ski resort is only 100km away. In December, you can bask in 20oc weather on the beach one day and be on the ski slopes the next.

In the summer season a road train stops outside the property as part of its route between the centre of St. Cyprien, the commercial and port area (lots of restaurants, etc) and this St Cyprien Sud terminus.

In the salt water lagoon there is a jetty that serves as a water taxi stopping off point on a similar route around St Cyprien to the road train. Both these services run throughout the day and into late evening.

Dear Guests Thank you very much for your kind review. With regard to the wifi, this is available for longer rentals as it needs to be set-up. However, the Cafe in the Centre Commercial, literally 2 mins from the door does offer a 'free' wifi service just for buying a cup of coffee. So for shorter rentals this is ideally situated to the apartment. It is nice that you were able to make good use of the available services and also some of the lovely sights and beaches nearby. I hope to see you again at St Cyp sometime in the future.

Dear guest thank you so much for your review. I am glad you had a pleasant holiday. There is now wi-fi in the apartment- fibre and fast- plus the shower has been updated and there is no longer a step into the shower area. The kitchen is also easy to use for those with accessibility issues. There is a new washing machine and air conditioning.

How do damage deposits work?
