Manzara Villa is Turkish and means villa with a view. So true! The view is fantastic, and you see something pretty almost regardless of where you are and what direction you look on this property.

NEW: POWER NEUTRAL. Villa Manzara is now self supplied with electric power from our own solar system. We do no longer contribute to sulphurous smoke from the power plant. When you stay with us you can run A/C with good conscience and not worry about excessive power charges.

In 2008 the Sunset Valley development was awarded the "Best Luxury Development in North Cyprus" price - with good reason. The location is truly fantastic if you like great views and privacy. The city and many activities are a short car drive away. Restaurants and bars are to be found within walking distance.

The villa is situated at the top of the development at one of the best plots in an elevated position with uninterrupted views of the sea and the beautiful hilly countryside of this area. The pool area is very private and not overlooked, and this is also the case on the majority of the terraces. There are at least six suitable seating areas around the villa, so, as the sun moves, you can move round to stay in or out of the sun as you please, whilst enjoying stunning views from each one. In addition, there are plenty of comfortable sunbeds available.

From the large upper sun terrace, there is nearly a 360 degree panoramic view of the sea, the mountains and the pine woods nearby. To go walking in the hills and woods, you only have to go out the gate or climb over the wall, and you are there! Gravel roads make walking or mountain biking very easy and no special clothing is required other than good shoes. The stunning Besparmak mountains are right on your doorstep! In about 2 hours you can be at the highest local top and see the ocean on the south side. The distance to the seafront is about 800 m as the crow flies, and roughly 1200 m to walk. There you will find a rocky beach in the Crystal Bay, with a natural pool in the West end, formed by the interesting geological formations in the area. The place is great for floating about on an air mattress while enjoying the view, as it is protected from the waves coming in.

The villa has its own 12 x 6 m swimming pool that is very private. Next to the pool, there is a gazebo that allows for staying out of the sun or enjoying the evening outside.

At the front outside the living room there is large roofed terrace that offers shade or rain shelter in combination with a great sea view.

The plot is very spacious (1600 m2), and allows plenty of space for children or anybody that likes to walk around and look at the plants or taste some fruit. It is ideal for small children as all terraces are fully enclosed by railings.

An orchard with many fruit trees, as well as lots of beautiful plants around the entire property, have been established. This is coming along nicely.

The house has a spacious entrance hall and kitchen area adjacent to the lounge with a separate dining area. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need, as well as a breakfast bar. All rooms have direct access to the outside terraces, including a shady pergola area for those hot days.

A modern Smart TV set with blue ray 3D DVD player is installed in the lounge. This allows Internet access via the remote control; and via USB connection or HDMI, music or videos can be played on the TV using smart phones, PC or other such units. The TV is fitted with a HDMI cable and Google Chromecast unit to allow connecting a laptop, tablet or smart phone. Wi-Fi is installed with a 15 Mbit/sec internet speed. We have a VPN Nordic account that allows you to via your PC or tablet or phone watch Internet TV from your home country. The Tv has a Netflix app.

The lounge has comfortable, purpose-built furniture, with a fireplace and sea view.

In addition on the ground floor, there are two large bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms, plus a large separate family bathroom with bath tub. Bedroom 2 is a double and is poolside.

Bedroom 3 can either be configured with 3 single beds or a double plus single bed; or for those who like it wide – a triple bed! If necessary a fourth bed can be located there as we have a spare mattress and there is room for one more bed. We normally only have 3 to allow better space by the window.

The top floor comprises one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with bath tub. The rest of this floor is occupied by a huge (about 90 m2) sun terrace facing three sides of the property. her you enjoy absolute privacy.

All internal flooring has a marble finish; all outside terraces have non-slip tile finishing. All bathrooms are tiled. All bed rooms and the lounge area have air conditioning, and for the winter season, central heating is available.

The house was built in 2009, was refurbished in 2013, and appears like new. The interior has been carefully selected to give you a comfortable home feeling.

A garage allows for parking the car out of the sun all day.

How to get there:

1) You can fly to Ercan airport (via Istanbul). About 40 minutes drive from location. No border crossing.

2) You can fly to Larnaca airport. About 1 hour 15 minutes drive from location, including border crossing.

3) You can fly to Paphos airport. About 2 hour 20 minutes drive from location, including border crossing.

If you arrive at Larnaca or Paphos on the Greek side, you will not be able to drive a rental car over the border, but we can help you to book airport transfers and car hire on the North side. Rental cars are delivered directly to the villa. Please contact us for further details and costs. You can assume about GBP 50 each way for airport pick-up at Larnaca, and about 20 GBP per day for a rental car.

We have a designated estate manager that will ensure you have what you need during your stay, and also can get you help quickly if something goes wrong.

We can help our guests with airport pick-up and return service as well as rental car. Our estate agent can offer a car rental and airport pickup, or you can use independent agencies. Regardless rental car cost is low in TRNC and the service is excellent.

The villa keys are placed in a key safe near the garage so you can arrive at any time of day. Our local property manager can come and see you the first working day after your arrival. Our nearest neighbours (in #9 and 7) across the street are permanent residents and if you need advise on anything you can go and talk to them. You can contact us (the owners) at any time you like, provided you have access to our contact details. This will available after the booking is confirmed and payment is made, or you can get it from our agent in TRNC if you booked via them. Also, if you book via Trip Advisor or directly we will send you an information document that addresses many of the questions you probably have.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Gunnar (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
