Two delightful Double Bedrooms, one with Air Conditioner in luxurious, spotless, detached Cottage with private parking on our shared driveway, next to University of Kent, a mile from the City Center. Beautiful views of Canterbury & the Cathedral. Sleeps 4-6 + travel cot (5th & 6th person on the sofa-bed in the lounge)

Little Lodge Cottage shares a spacious private gated driveway with my bungalow next door and is enclosed by a beautiful railway sleepers wall. It offers lighting and lockable gated free parking.

Little Lodge Cottage is 1 mile from Canterbury West Station.

London is 55 minutes to St Pancras Station.

Located on the main road with regular and reliable buses into the City or a short walk downhill.

For dog lovers or walkers, the Cottage is surrounded by green fields and great country walks, Blean Woods, and the famous Crab & Winkle 6 mile walk to Whitstable.

Downstairs

Recently renovated open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. Fully furnished with beautiful wooden floor and furnishings. Lounge/Diner with farmhouse table and four dining chairs.

Laura Ashley sofa-bed in lounge (converts to double bed). Please note with sofa-bed used as a bed, space is tight and guests need to pass the sofa bed in the open plan lounge to get to the bathroom in the night.

Beautiful kitchen with quality appliances to include gas hob, electric oven, slim line dishwasher.

Farmhouse table seating four, Smart HD TV. Netflix.

Full gas central heating, dedicated, fast, fibre broadband internet connection.

Beautiful downstairs spacious bathroom with quality furniture form Grohe and Roca - toilet, full size bath, shower over, sink and great mirrored lighting.

Upstairs

Two carpeted Double Bedrooms upstairs:

Bed 1 : One bedroom has a double bed (4' 6'') with a comfortable memory foam mattress. Dressing table with GHD straighteners and hairdryer.

Bed 2: Has two full size Laura Ashley Single Beds (3') with memory foam mattress. Wall mounted Air conditioning unit.

Each bedroom has view of the surrounding gardens and countryside. I offer plenty of pillows, duvet (feather or non allergenic), fresh, clean beautiful Egyptian cotton bed-linen and sumptuous towels.

Outside

Seating and 2 bistro tables, overlooking beautiful gardens (shared with me) and view of Canterbury Cathedral. Private parking through a large wooden gated driveway shared with my house next door.

Dogs:

Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior specific agreement to acceptance to the Doggy Lodging Rules. These are

1. No dog to be home alone at any time, unless in a crate

2. No 'doggy business' permitted anywhere on the premises or driveway.

3. Keep the dog off the sofa and beds at all times

4. Please bring his own basket or crate to sleep in

5. Doggy Lodgings fee applies dependent on breed/age etc...(typically £20-25). Prior to booking, please give details of your dog, confirm you will bring a dog bed or crate and confirm you will adhere to the rules.

Detached, spotlessly clean and cosy Cottage to yourselves, two double bedrooms, luxurious surroundings, a spacious bathroom, a place to prepare food, log on or simply relax.

I live in the bungalow next door and we share the large private gated driveway.

Why can't I call Mikal (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mikal (the owner) a message.

If Mikal (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
