A trditional style, but modern detached cottage in the quiet village of Whitford in North Wales, sleeps 6 with 3 bedrooms, bathroom, lounge, kitchen, and dining room, en suite master bedroom, with 4 poster bed, cot and stair gate provided, patio and garden to rear, well behaved pets welcome.

Off road parking for 2 to 3 cars, (we advise that small children are supervised as there is a small stream in the garden)

An ideal base for walking or cycling in the Clwydian hills with their spectacular scenery, the area is also excellent for golfers, with 3 golf couses in the locality. There are several fishing lakes in the area, providing trout and carp fishing and also regular sea fishing trips from Rhyl and Anglesy.

Public house and restaurant 5 mins by car, tennis courts and childrens park 100 yards.

The village is ideally situated for exploring North Wales and also the North West of England, which includes the historic city of Chester.

Interaction with guest

We normally leave the keys out for guests to let themselves in, however if guests prefer to be handed the keys personally we are happy to do that if they request it. we are almost always availalable if guests have any problems as we live a few minutes away, if for some reason myself or Sue are not available, My Son Jay lives next door at Huntsman House so he will be able to help, or if not contact us or someone who can. Doug.

Why can't I call Douglas (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Douglas (the owner) a message.

If Douglas (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
