Come and stay at our log cabin, for a truly unique experience. It is a beautiful scandinavian style log cabin located on three acres of woodland garden. Relax and unwind with your children and explore our woodland garden, hours of fun and imagination to be had in our tree house. Picnic by the pond, bbq on the deck, watch the sun set from the balcony. Ideally located 10 kms from Kilkenny city, locally enjoying Gowran Park Golf and Race course.

Upstairs is the master bedroom with a double bed and balcony overlooking the beautiful garden. There is an adjoining childrens room with two childrens beds 70cm x 160cm and sharing bathroom/shower facilities.

Downstairs is a double room with a double bed. There is a lovely open plan kitchen, dining and living area and also a downstairs toilet. Surrounding the ground floor there is access to fabulous covered deck areas and lawn.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials and includes a welcome pack on arrival. The house is heated with a wood burning log stove. Ample firewood shall be provided for the duration of your stay. Ben linen and fresh towels are provided. A cot and high chair are available on request.

The garden is planted with native trees and has a large pond, all of which promotes natural wildlife, flora and fauna. In the garden there is also a great tree house and children's play area.

It is situated only 5km from the M9 linking Dublin to Waterford. Gowran is a stop on the main Dublin to Waterford bus route, with buses running 10 times or more a day.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Annette (the owner) a message.

If Annette (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
