Come and make yourself at home in a light, bright, brick and flint cottage in the small North Norfolk village of Bacton, just 2 minutes walk from the sea a great place for walking, fishing or exploring by car. This is next door to our new property Rowena Cottage (#6757490), giving accommodation to an additional 2 guests or can be booked separately.

Accommodation Details This non-smoking, pet-friendly (with an extra charge for up to two dogs) accommodation consists of:-

Kitchen with electric oven, fridge, small counter-top freezer, microwave, washing machine, kettle and toaster

Bathroom with Shower cubicle, toilet and basin

Bedroom 1 with double bed

Bedroom 2 with two single beds which can be linked to form a king-size bed

Living room with 2 settees, and dinning table and 4 chairs.

Facilities Gas central heating, TV, microwave, fridge, small counter-top freezer, Wi-Fi.

Bed linen and towels provided.

Travel cot and highchair available on request.

Private, secure, shingled garden to rear with picnic table, bench seat and washing line.

Off road parking to front shared with neighbouring property, access through shared drive.

Location - A perfect base for exploring the North Norfolk coast and the Norfolk Broads. From delicious crabs and the summer end-of-pier shows at Cromer to the idyllic waterways of the Norfolk Broads. Easy driving distance from Norwich, with its castle, cathedrals, museums, theatres, restaurants and fine shopping, and the interesting market towns of Holt, North Walsham and Aylsham.

Within 5 minutes walk are; a Chinese restaurant, fish and chip shop, tea shop and convenience store.

The nearest golf club is in Mundesley with three more at Cromer, West Runton and Sheringham

Why can't I call Richard (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Richard (the owner) a message.

If Richard (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
