The Coach House is situated adjacent to the owners property, an eighteenth century stone grade ll listed building, in the attractive West Town conservation area of Backwell, a village only 6 miles from Bristol.

The Coach House is conveniently located close to the main road in the heart of the village with all amenities close by, including a train station, leisure centre, shops and pubs.

The accommodation comprises of a large open plan living and dining area with a spacious kitchen to one end. There is a fireplace with a cast iron 'woodburner' (gas controlled) and a solid oak floor. Upstairs there are 2 carpeted bedrooms. The double bedroom has an en-suite shower room with wc and basin and a large built in wardrobe. The second bedroom has twin beds and there is a separate bathroom with wc and basin.

Locality: Backwell is a village in North Somerset between Bristol and Weston-Super-Mare. It is an excellent base for visiting many towns and cities in the area, including Bristol, Bath and Cardiff and the seaside towns of Clevedon and Weston, as well as enjoying walks in the Mendip hills and Quantocks. The Somerset attractions of Cheddar Gorge, Wells, Glastonbury and the Chew Valley lakes are also within easy reach. We are located close to Bristol's Lulsgate International airport. (Approx. 10 minutes away)

Glad you had a good stay. The issue is not damp but as it is an old building with stone walls sometimes mould appears in areas where air cannot circulate. That’s why we leave cupboard doors ajar. It seemed to be on walls where items where stored and being Christmas you had a lot of items. Possibly also exacerabated by the temperature and humidity. It is quickly and easily removed and had you said we would have done so before you left. Best wishes.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Iola (the owner) a message.

If Iola (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
