Traditional Island coastal cottage. New windows fitted 2022 . New mast been connected Feb2022 so now 4g available with the Wi-Fi it is not unlimited.. Situated in a small bay on the East coast of Harris.where you have access to the water with kayaks and small boats. Well maintain with a cottage feel .Manish is a great place to explore being close to Leverburgh for the ferry to Uist and for boat trips to St Kilda. There are shops, takeaway meals and a restaurant in Leverburgh too. There is also a mobile Post Office. It is just 20 mins away from the world famous Luskentyre Beach. Tarbert is 25mins away for meals, takeaways,craft markets, shops, local hotels and Harris Distillery. In Tarbert the craft markets have a variety of local artisans making items out of tweed, driftwood to handmade mustard and soap.The Harbour Bistro in Scalpay is 28mins away it serves award standard fish dishes. Skoon Art is in the village before Manish 5mins in the car with stunning artworks/Tea Coffee cake. There are 4 other Art Galleries in the east coast of Harris too. Holmasaig Gallery,Finsbay Gallery , Finsbay Mission House and Ardbuidhe Gallery. Other Galleries in Harris are Hebscape,Harris Art Gallery, Blacklab Photo Gallery and Caolas Gallery also with lovely baking tea coffee. It is 25 mins away from the golf course, remaining beaches and the new Talla-Na-Mara /Machair Kitchen a,beautiful venue for your hebridean wedding. Fenced garden suitable for pets. Sleeps four has two bed rooms 1st king size bed 2nd a small twin. All linen provided and store basics, coffee, tea, washing up liquid, toilet roll, foil, washing machine liquid, fabric softener salt and pepper. Coffee machine, capoccino, flat whites milk frothed great to start the day. The cottage is right at the shore and off the main road. There is plenty wildlife to capture through the lens, with seal colonies in the bays, also dolphins and otters making regular appearances. . Why not just fish in the bay. Very very peaceful. Manish is lovely in Winter months with Autumnal skies and cosy evenings in by the fire. Excellent place for kids and pets.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
