With sea views over St Ives Bay and towards Hayle Towans this beautiful, stylish and spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment that sleeps 4, is located in the centre of St Ives (Above Barclays bank). Restaurants and shops are on your doorstep and the many beaches are just a few minutes walk away. This is an ideal location for a short stay or longer holiday with friends and family.

Enter through the gate at the side of the building which is located off a private road at the bottom of Bedford Road. Climb the oak stairs to the front door of apartment 2 and enter the hallway.

On the first floor are two lovely light and airy bedrooms and two luxury bathrooms. Walk in to the impressive Master bedroom with a king size bed dressed with cushions, throw and luxury linens. Lie back and soak away the stresses of life in the en-suite bathroom with a double ended bath tub or step into the double walk in shower. The en-suite includes underfloor electric underfloor heating as well as two heated towel rails. Towels, bed linen and hairdryer are all provided along with dressing gown and slippers in the master bedroom.

The twin bedroom has two very large windows looking out towards Tregenna Hill and has easy access to the main bathroom with large walk in shower. This bedroom has a lovely fresh and bright ambience and is equipped with 3ft twin beds dressed again with cushions, throws and luxury linens.

Move up to the second floor and enter a modern open plan living area with comfy sofas as well as a 55" smart TV and wi-fi facilities.

The kitchen has stylish quartz worktops, gloss dove grey units, integrated Neff appliances and wood effect viynl flooring. It has an island unit, with two bar stools, a great place for grabbing a quick snack. It is perfectly appointed with Neff slide and hide oven, 4 ring ceramic hob, extractor hood, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The perfect place to cook up a gourmet feast which family and friends can enjoy around the dining table.

If travelling by car, the closest parking is at The station car park or Barnoon car park. A Rover car parking ticket, bought in advance for those staying for a week is the most cost effective option and can be used across most of Cornwalls long stay car parks. You could also book a private parking space via companies such as Just Park or use St Ives Rugby Club. For those without a car, The Bank is perfectly located for shops, restaurants, beaches and local attractions, which are all within a few minute walk of this special holiday property.

St Ives has a fabulous array of excellent award winning restaurants, numerous cafes serving great coffee. Famous for its artists The Tate St Ives is well worth a visit as are the numerous private art galleries - a haven for all artists, the light in St Ives is very special making it a perfect choice for all artists.

The 5 beautiful beaches are safe and clean with Porthmeor being a great surf beach, it has a surf school as well as hire facilities, cafe and restaurant between Easter and October. Porthminster Beach is delightful and has the famous Porthminster Beach Cafe serving delicious locally sourced and lovely created food - a must for all foodies! The harbour town beach is perfect for watching the world go by and the boats bobbing about in the water at high tide, not to mention the common seals that visit the harbour. Porthgwidden Beach is smaller, has a great restaurant serving breakfast on the deck is a great pastime and if you are lucky you may see one of the pods of dolphins that regularly visit St Ives Bay. Bamaluz Beach is a small rocky cove with sand at low tide.

If you can drag yourself away from St Ives you will find some lovely places to visit, during the summer The Minack outdoor theatre which clings to the cliff top at Porthcurno is a great experience, the shows are popular and go ahead no matter what the weather and only 30-40 mins drive. Falmouth is a bustling town with Rick Steins fish restaurant as well as some great shops, boat trips and water sports. Penzance is the gateway to the Isles of Scilly where day trips on the ferry leave, the town has an eclectic mix of galleries and shops. Marazion boasts the majestic St Michaels Mount which you can walk to at low tide of catch the little ferry.

As for gardens, Cornwall has an abundance of wonderful gardens open to the public, Trebah is a favourite with a riot of colour and interest throughout the year, Glendurgan has a maze, of course The Eden Project is a must on your to do list - so many more gardens, too many to mention in this small space!

St Ives is in a great location and never more than 30-40 mins from the south coast, Helford River, the far west of Cornwall with Sennen Cove or further north such as Padstow, Newquay, Fowey so a perfect place to stay. Walk along the south west coast path its a perfect choice for those walkers wanting to explore the glorious rugged coast.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Angela (the owner) a message.

If Angela (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
