From the owner

Set in the countryside in a farm setting of 88. acres, an interesting 3 bedroomed Upside Down House. With excellent views over the countryside, the living area upstairs takes advantage of this and looks out on to the natural landscape, with the bedrooms and a second bathroom with bath located downstairs. This homely self-catering house located in rural North Nottinghamshire comprises of a double bedroom, a twin bedroom downstairs and single bed in the room with the spiral staircase plus a sofa bed in the living area upstairs to accommodate up to 6 guests. It has freeview and Wi-fi, a fully equipped kitchen and toilet & shower room upstairs and a bathroom with a bath downstairs .There is a lovely patio area with a table and chairs, overlooking the garden and paddocks and safe, private parking next to the property. There is a separate entrance downstairs to access the bedrooms, and a spiral staircase within the property.

Close by are local pubs and shops with a bus stop outside the main gates. Ideal location for visiting the Park Hospital , Robin Hood Country, Clumber Park, Newstead Abbey and the Peak District. Close by the towns of Nottingham, Newark, Mansfield, Chesterfield .

There are excellent walks around the farm on our hacking track and adjoining local footpaths, for enjoyable country walks.

Why can't I call Debbie (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Debbie (the owner) a message.

If Debbie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
