Comfortable, well-appointed cottage providing ideal accommodation for a short break or longer stay. Blaenau is the perfect location for an active holiday in Snowdonia, for just relaxing, or for a bit of both. Direct view of the Ffestiniog Railway.

The cottage provides a comfortable base for a short or long holiday, whether you intend this to be full of activities, a chill out, or a combination of both.

The cottage sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms. One of the rooms has a double bed and the other has a double / single bunk bed, so it can be used either as a double bedroom or as a twin bedroom. There's wardrobe and drawer storage in the bedrooms. Please take a look at "Other Things to Note" for information about bed linen and towels.

In the open-plan living room there's a comfy three-piece suite, dining table, sideboard, bookcase (with a selection of books, DVDs, maps, local information and games), coffee table, smart TV (satellite and internet), Blu-Ray / DVD player and a Wii games console (with games). There's a wood-burning stove in an Inglenook fireplace.
High-speed wireless internet is accessible throughout the cottage and included in the price.

The modern kitchen is well appointed, having a microwave with grill, fan oven, ceramic hob, extractor, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher, toaster, kettle and plenty of pots, pans, utensils, glasses and crockery.

In the modern bathroom, in addition to the obvious sink and toilet, there's a full-size L-shaped bath, an electric shower and heated towel rail.

In addition to the stove in the living room, there are four electric storage heaters. Hot water is provided by an electric immersion heater.

There's a small garden to the front of the cottage, and a there's a yard to the rear with steps up to a terrace and the hillside garden. Private, off-street parking is available directly in front of the cottage.

We can optionally provide linen for the bed(s) and / or towels (includes laundering). You can select these options when booking.

When you leave, you need to leave the cottage clean and tidy as you found it or, if you would prefer, we can provide a cleaner. you can select this option when booking.

Please note that the cottage is advertised via more than one tripadvisor-operated service and this can lead to the cottage appearing more than once in search results with different pricing as the services use different currencies. Just book via the service which you prefer.

Blaenau Ffestiniog is served by mainline trains from the North Wales Coast line via Llandudno Junction, and from the Cambrian Coast line to Minfordd (with a Ffestiniog Railway or bus connection from Minfordd to Blaenau).

    We had a lovely stay but unfortunately the cleaniness let it down and having one of my kids find condoms in a draw was unacceptable

    Lynn stayed at the cottage for a number of nights but only informed us about her concerns after she left. Therefore, we neither had the opportunity to address her concerns during her stay nor to verify the concerns. We did receive some photos a short while after she contacted us and a few days after she'd left. Again, this left us unable to address any concerns at the time of her stay,

    Tidy accommodation, good as a base to explore some fantastic places in Snowdonia. Nearest supermarket is quite far. With everything in Snowdonia, the scenery and experience more than make up for it.
