From the owner

Sunshine Cottage is a cosy traditional Cornish cottage which has been modernised in the heart of Trevone near Padstow which is a popular water sports centre and is famous for Rick Stein's restaurants. There are golf clubs at Trevose and St Enodoc near Rock. The cottage is about 3 minutes walk to the sandy and rocky beaches of Trevone Bay and fabulous walks around the coastline to Padstow or the other direction to Harlyn Bay.

The main part of the cottage was built in 1870 with a bathroom room in the cottage added later and the Garden Room was in 2012 and comprises a bedroom and a wet room with shower and toilet. The cottage benefits from double glazing throughout including french doors and windows along with a fully double glazed porch and full central heating making it suitable all year round. With its sunny aspect and enclosed front garden it is well suited to couples or families with small children.

Parking for one car is reserved in a private parking area at the Well Parc Hotel nearby and is included in the rent.

Downstairs -

Sitting/dining room with open fireplace and French doors leading to a sunny, south-facing enclosed garden; radiator; television and radio.

Kitchen breakfast room - fully equipped kitchen including electric cooker, fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, iron, radiator. Table and chairs at one end.

Upstairs -

Two bedrooms (one leading into the other); the outer bedroom has bunk beds, chest of draws, a wardrobe and a radiator. The main bedroom has a double bed, chest of draws, wardrobe and radiator with door to the bathroom. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, toilet and basin along with a heated towel rail, a radiator and a hair drier is also provided.

Garden Room-

The Garden Room contains a single bedroom with adjoining wet room with underfloor heating throughout. The Garden Room has a TV, and a hair drier and the wet room comprises a shower, basin and toilet.

Bed linen and towels are provided and all beds have a duvet, two pillows and a blanket for cooler weather. The bunk beds and Garden Room bed each have single duvets and the double bed a double duvet.

The cottage is available for letting all year round. Lets normally commence on a Friday but can be more flexible outside the main summer holiday season; access is available from 4:30pm on the day of arrival, and guests are requested to vacate by 10:00am on the day of departure to allow for the cottage to be cleaned for the next guests.

Why can't I call Fiona (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Fiona (the owner) a message.

If Fiona (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
