From the owner

Our holiday paradise is located in a very peaceful area, 40 minutes from downtown Helsinki and 50 minutes from the airport, at the famous Porkkala peninsula. It opens towards the open seas, has 160 meters seashore towards south, west and north. The fantastic open views bring a lot of south-western winds which guarantee that mosquitoes are not frequent visitors in this place.

The separate Guest House has three bedrooms, which have beds for seven people. The equipment includes a big refrigerator, oven, induction stove, big Weber grill, dish washing machine, Internet (LAN and WLAN), hot and cold water, three eco toilets, four showers. The wood heated sauna is 20 meters from the sea. The combined living room, kitchen and dining room is seating comfortably 8 people. The fully equipped kitchen caters for 10 people, either on the terrace or inside, by the fireside.

A small sailing/rowing boat and fishing equipment can be used.

Our paradise is free from TV, stereos, game consoles and karaoke equipment.

There is a big grass area on the property for games, a play boat for children and huge rocks for fishing and sunbathing.

The closest neighbours are on an island 200 meters away, but you are not likely to bump into many people here. However, birds, dears and rabbits are frequently seen. Porkkala is a popular place for admiring the bird migrations in spring and autumn.

Towels and bed linen are included in the price.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Johanna (the owner) a message.

If Johanna (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
