Stable Lodge Self Catering offers a luxury 2 bedroom Scottish Highland lodge near Loch Lomond. Set in a peaceful location just minutes from the pretty Stirlingshire village of Drymen and Loch Lomond National Park. A very cosy lodge with a wood burning stove, spacious deck and private garden. The secluded lodge has a south facing position on a private estate with extensive grounds of 30 acres and panoramic views all round. Whatever the weather, you can relax and enjoy the undercover deck and simply soak up the scenery of the Campsie Hills or you may prefer to relax by the wood burning stove and choose a good book, puzzle or movie from our selection. If you are seeking a bit of pampering or professional beauty treatments, this can be organised for you to enjoy in the privacy of your own lodge. It's a great location for golfing holidays with several courses close by including The International Loch Lomond Golf Club, Buchanan Castle Golf Club and The Carrick Golf Club. Those who enjoy hillwalking are spoilt for choice with the West Highland Way right on the doorstep and Ben Lomond, which is the most southerly of the Munros. The Conic Hill at Balmaha is a popular climb and the views of Loch Lomond are stunning. The east side of Loch Lomond can be reached within minutes were you can hop aboard for a cruise around the Islands of Loch Lomond or take to the water for one of the many water sports on offer. The lodge facilities include:- a king size bed and a super kingsize which can be split into a twin, free wifi, parking, fully fitted modern kitchen with all the essential crockery, cookware and utensils. A new oven, hob, grill, fridge freezer and dishwasher. Luxury bed linen and soft fluffy towels. Outdoor decking with undercover area complete with furniture to relax and dine outdoors. Storage areas for bikes, golf clubs, fishing rods and classic cars. We are also pet friendly and welcome dogs by prior arrangement.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Fiona (the owner) a message.

If Fiona (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
