Two double bedrooms GARDEN VIEW Apartment. FREE WiFi CONNECTION - for up to 5 occupants. The 5th can only be a child or a small teenager on a foldaway IKEA bed, stood in the larger bedroom or in the lounge at night. Apartment is suitable for family all-seasons holidays, honeymoon destination or a business trip. Recommended from spring to autumn because of the lovely garden, surrounding mountains, lakes and countryside.

And in the winter it has an easy access to several skiing resorts by car, bus or train and is much cheaper than staying in skiing resorts. The nearest is Spicak (Pointed Hill) in Tanvald, then Severak (Northern Hill) in Bedrichov Jested in Liberec, Harrachov in the Giant Mountains - all accessible by public transport easily. Spicak is the nearest, we have a Train stop 3 mins from our house and in half an hour you will be in the skiing resort.

The house stands on top of a hill with views of mountains covered in pine forests 300 ms away. You will have your own private rustic courtyard with seating and a tiled patio, secluded by flowers and trees. Nobody else will use the rustic courtyard.

A picturesque lake with fish, ducks and surrounded by trees is only 5 mins away for walking and relaxing. The pine woods are 10 mins walk away.

And about 3 kms away is a large man made lake for swimming, The Dam in a lovely recreation location, surrounded by forests and hills, with an excellent sports centre called BRIZKY / BIRCHES and tennis courts indoor and outdoor. The whole area is wonderful for swimming, boating, cycling and recreation..

We recommend our apartment for a romantic, relaxing, walking, sightseeing, hiking, skiing, cycling.

And also ideal for your business accommodation, especially for beads and glass buyers. Our house was built in 1897 by a glass manufacturer Konrad Weberlich.

Ideal for writing books, filming, photography, buying beads and costume jewellery due to the local industry - and it is a peaceful house and area. We have had several writers and photographers staying with us, and many international buyers of glass beads and costume jewellery.

The town Jablonec nad Nisou has many excellent sporting facilities, see on Google to verify.

We are within an easy driving or coach / train distance from Prague, Poland and Germany. You can visit Dresden in Germany from the University city of Liberec railway station. And Liberec is only 25 mins. train journey from the local railway stop round the corner from our house.

No backpacking groups of teenagers, hen or stag parties will be accepted.

Near our house is a silent single electric railway line, which will take you to the mountain resorts of Tanvald and the Giant Mountains or to the nearby Poland.

The Bus / Coach station with several daily coaches going to Prague is a 15-minute walk from our house.

Bookcase with English books in the lounge/diner.

It is ideal for 2 to 4 adults or parents with 2 or 3 children from 4 years upwards. We regret that the apartment is not suitable for babies and toddlers. However we are happy to discuss if you bring your own cot.

You will be renting a private apartment, so nobody will disturb you. Either us or our Caretakers, who live in the house, will hand over the keys and explain everything. But we provide a very detailed Welcome Letter as the Caretakers do not speak foreign languages. We shall be available either personally or by email and phone. Our family apartment is next door but if we are away, let us know immediately and our Caretakers will sort out any problems.

Thank you so much for your kind review, it is much appreciated. There are in fact several taxi companies within Jablonec nad Nisou, but always busy with longer journeys. The company we have recommended in the Apartment book is always reliable. And the one stop train journey from the bottom of the town Jablonec Central to our house Jablonec Zastavka (stop) helps a lot.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Zenka (the owner) a message.

If Zenka (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
