Dear guest, Thank you for the review. As mentioned in the previous email, the sofa seats 4, and that's the standard size of sofa that we've ordered from a big famous retailer, which you're the first to complain of not seating 4 people. I find it surprising to be honest. I'd also gently remind you that your original booking was for a smaller (cheaper) apartment that has a smaller sofa as per the photos, hence I'm a bit puzzled you're unhappy about this. We have a dining table with 4 chairs, shelves, small coffee table, TV stand, and a large corner sofa (not this apartment) - almost all shown in the photos, hence I can't understand what you meant by "the lack of appropriate furniture". The lack of storage in the second bedroom is due to the fact it's a city apartment, and city centre apartments generally lack in size but compensated by brilliant location. Putting in a wardrobe would mean there's not much space to move around but we do have rails for the clothes. Note, this is only for the second bedroom, and the master bedroom is much larger with a built in wardrobe. The hob's markings have probably come off after constant scrubbings/cleaning - not due to the old age but due to the cleaners using the wrong cleaning products or scrubbing too hard. We'll need to look into this. In your email, you've also complained about the space. What I did try to point out is that we do have a very large apartment (easily 3 times the size) available in the city centre at the prestigious Centralofts but due to your tight budget, you didn't opt for it. Bear in mind what you've paid is less than a Premier Inn/Travelodge's stay but in a much better and comfortable environment. Hence I would say we are competitive in price, comfort and standard (I myself took the pain to stay at various hotels to judge where we are in terms of standard). I'm sorry you didn't find your stay satisfactory. regards, Kenny

Why can't I call Kenneth (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kenneth (the owner) a message.

If Kenneth (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
