Pen Y Bryn Farm and Holiday Cottages are located on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Betws Yn Rhos, in the beautiful North Wales countryside Just 3 miles inland from the seaside and town of Abergele. With quick and easy access to North Wales Expressway taking you to Chester or Holyhead in around an hour .

Bluebell Cottage is situated on over 25 acres of private farmland, away from the hustle and bustle of town. Pen Y Bryn is no longer a working farm, the fields are rented to a local farmer for grazing and crop growing. There are almost a mile of country paths located on the property which guests are welcome to enjoy at their leisure. Our guests are also invited to use our wildlife area where many wild animals, birds and insects can be seen all year round.

Nightly Wood Fired Eco Hot Tub Hire available - This is an optional extra and not included with cottage rental. Pre booking advised please ask about availability and prices.

Bluebell cottage is just minutes from the North Wales coast and offers easy access to the A-55 expressway which links users quickly to Chester or Conwy.

North Wales has a great variety of activities to offer visitors to the area including numerous outdoor activities for all abilities such as climbing, walking, cycling, rafting, shooting, skiing fishing and riding. There are a number of places of historical interest located within a few minutes drive from our cottages including castles and museums, plenty of wildlife centres, zoo's and conservation areas, indoor and outdoor craft and activity centres, shops, markets, restaurants and theatres plus miles and miles of beautiful coastline and countryside just waiting to be explored.

Bluebell cottage is a pet friendly cottage and is one of 4 holiday cottages on the property which have been tastefully converted from an original stone granary and grain store into comfortable self catering holiday accommodation, with 3 bedrooms and a family toilet and shower room.

Bluebell cottage has an open plan living and dining area with seating for 5 and a fully equipped kitchen. Bed linen, towels and electricity are included for all guests and we also include crockery, cups, plates cutlery, kitchen utensils, a toaster, kettle, microwave, TV with freeview & DVD Player. There are a washing machine and tumble dryer on site which guests are welcome to use - coin operated. Each cottage has 1 double room, 1 twin room and 1 single room. Baby equipment is available to hire and includes a travel cot, bedding and towels, potty, high chair, bath and stair gates.

Bluebell cottage is located on over 25 Acres of farmland with a private drive way and safe off road parking. The farm is no longer a working farm although the fields are rented to a local farmer for grazing and crop growing. We also have our own pet sheep, Pygmy goats and pigs which are very popular with guests. There are almost a mile of country paths located on the property which guests are welcome to enjoy at their leisure. Our guests are also invited to use our wildlife area ponds where many wild animals, birds and insects can be seen all year round.

Why can't I call the property manager before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

If you have any questions before booking, you can send the property owner/manager a message via the contact form on their listing. Once you’ve booked, you can discuss the rental and make arrangements for your trip by logging into Manage my booking.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send the property manager a message.

If the property manager agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
