From the owner

Our petit chalet was handmade 25 years ago by my craftsman neighbor, whose family has lived in this valley for more than 200 years. We have a colorful organic garden and fruit trees, 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and a mezzanine with two twin beds upstairs. We're situated in a very private sun-filled spot in the village. So you can get up every morning before skiing and walk down to the boulangerie for your fresh, warm baguette like a local and return home to sit in the sun on the terrace in complete privacy. Our back terrace has a barbecue, picnic table and umbrella. It looks out over magnificent views of the close, glaciated mountains and wide sunny valley. There are beds and seating for 6, but 5 would be more comfortable given the chalet is small, there is one shower room and one toilet room. There's a wood fire in the chalet and firewood is included. Large interior chest inside the chalet is available for ski boots and there's a ski/snowboard locker outside.

Minimum number of nights allowed is flexible; please ask. No smoking inside, please.

Addressing COVID 19 - To help ease uncertainty during this time, we're closely monitoring official guidance from local government and health authorities as well as listening to feedback from our neighbors and friends.

We maintain our advance notice cancellation policy and will strive to honor your reservation in our chalet if the novel coronavirus interferes with travel plans in the coming year. Be well!

I love the location too, right there along the fabulous Tour de Mont Blanc trekking route, that takes you through Italy, Switzerland and back through France. There isn't a season that is best there. I look forward to having you try winter next time!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Cathy (the owner) a message.

If Cathy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
