Beautiful Sea view Apartment in an idyllic location.

This property is the perfect base for both city & countryside touring. Its location is suitable for both relaxation & adventure, there are numerous leisure activities in the area.

The apartment is in a property that is directly on the beach. In total there are 5 holiday apartments.

This apartment is a large, spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a large open plan kitchen living room. It can sleep up to 6 in total. There is king size bed in one bedroom and 2 single beds in the second bedroom. A large sofa bed in the living room which sleeps 2. There is a kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Both bedrooms have sea views.

Rush was a small fishing village & is now a bustling seaside town. It has two beaches one of which the property is located on. This beach has lovely golden sand and is safe to swim in. At one end are cliffs with a Martello Tower & the other end is the harbour & local village.

The village has much to offer in eating & drinking. There is also a local theatre, sailing & golf club.

Dublin city centre with all its attractions is only a short train or car journey away. We are also only 30 minutes to the famous Newgrange heritage site and the Hill of Tara.

As we are on the east coast of Ireland the weather is mainly dry and mild.

Facilities in the local village include Theatre, Sailing Club, Links Golf course, 6 Restaurants, 7 Pubs, some of which have live music and serve food, 2 Supermarkets (Eurospar & Tesco) & many smaller retail business. Beauty Salons, Clothes shops, Jewellery Shop, Dry Cleaners & Laundry, Farmers Markets, Many Take-outs.

Thank you for your review. This apartment sleeps up to 6 guests and since we started our business in 2012 you are the first guest to comment that the apartment is not big enough and we have had on many occasions 6 adults stay in this apartment. The drive to the train station in Rush is 10 mins and the train to Dublin city centre is 30 minutes. Google maps will confirm this. So 40 minutes in total and we are very clear on our advertisement that we are outside of Dublin centre. We live on site so if there was issue with the bathroom at any point you could have spoken to us and we would have come to have come to see what the problem was. We certainly didn't have any guest afterwards mention this to us as problem or when we went to cleaned there was no smell. The bathroom also has it's own window & a fan. Each apartment has it's own hot water tank which is explained on arrival that it is the hot water for the shower & the sinks so if it has been left run in the sinks it will drain the tank. It's unfortunate when you check in with a guest during their to stay to see if everything is ok & they tell you that it is but decide then to leave a negative review with untrue information. We can't be anymore clearer regarding our location and our price reflects that we are not Dublin city centre.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Mary (the owner) a message.

If Mary (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
