From the owner

We have two Shepherd Huts here on our site - one that can sleep 2 adults and 2 children (up to age of 15 as the hut is NOT suitable for four adults) and one that has a fixed bed and can sleep 2 adults and one child. The Huts are ideally located close to the North Wales coast and half way between the historic town of Conwy and the seaside resort of Llandudno both of which are only a 10 minute drive away. There are numerous places to visit and activities to do for both young and old including numerous National Trust properties, dry ski slope, cable car and toboggan run, zip wires across lakes and ravines, cave trampolines, the Welsh Mountain Zoo and the beautiful Snowdonia National Park to walk in - if you want to walk up the highest mountain in Wales Snowdon it is only a 25 minute drive away. An inland surfing centre opened in the summer of 2015 and I have included some pictures of this on the site. The North Wales area is also getting popular with the Rally GB and several stages have occurred in the local area - including one around the Great Orme in Llandudno.

Each Shepherd Hut is fitted with a kettle, TV/DVD, microwave, toaster and heater. There is a 2 ring cooker located outside in a covered cooking area. There is a heater in both huts as we are open throughout the year and they are fully insulted with high tog rating bedding so lovely and cosy. There is bedding located in the blanket boxes under the seats including quilts, pillows and roll out beds for the children.

There is a hot tub on site which can be used wherever you want to – it is set at 40 degrees so very enjoyable even on a cold days. Please note that the hot tub is available to use by both huts. There is a toilet and shower available in a near by outbuilding. We have some ducks and chickens on the site so free range eggs can be purchased on a daily basis.

We are also a dog friendly site (as long as they are kept under control due to being surrounded by sheep country) and there are numerous walks straight from the farm including a near by obelisk with far reaching views to Puffin Island on Anglesey and part of the Snowdonia National Park.

We have two huts on site so if there is no availability shown on the dates you want please just send me an enquiry and I can easily check if the other hut is available to book. Thanks.

    This site is suitable for kids even though we only have two huts on site. There is a large flat area in front of the huts and there are some swings and play ground located about 10 minutes away in the village.

    We welcome pets, with no charge, but ask that they are kept under control as we are surrounded by sheep country.

    Please note that the family hut is not suitable for four adults.

    Please note smoking is not allowed in the hut but you can smoke in any area outside.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

    How do I edit my booking?

    You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Adrianne (the owner) a message.

    If Adrianne (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
