An der landschaftlich reizvollen Costa Brava an der spanischen Mittelmeerküste (3 Sterne im Michelin-Reiseführer Spanien) und nur 50 km hinter der französisch-spanischen Grenze, befindet sich unser Haus. Roses hat sich in den letzten 20 Jahren zu einem Touristenzentrum entwickelt, gleichzeitig ist ein alter Ortskern und ein großer Fischerhafen geblieben. Auch in der Nebensaison ist der Ort nicht ausgestorben. Palmenpromenade und zahlreiche Straßencafés laden zum Verweilen ein. An Einkaufmöglichkeiten wird fast alles geboten, v.a. Töpferei, Leder, Wein..... Es gibt zahlreiche Bademöglichkeiten. Direkt im Ort ist in einem aufwändigen Verfahren in den letzten Jahren der Strand rekonstruiert und ein Yachthafen angelegt worden. Der Ort bietet alles, was ein Touristenzentrum bieten kann: zahlreiche teilweise recht urige Restaurants, Bars, Discos, Segeln, Surfen, Tennis, Reiten, Minigolf, Fallschirmspringen, Glass-Bottom-Boote, 'Tren' mit Stadtrundfahrt u.v.m.
Man kann eine Stadtrundfahrt in einem kleinen Zug unternehmen oder einfach nur einkaufen gehen. In gastronomischer Hinsicht gibt es alles, was man sich wünscht, von einheimischen Spezialitäten bis zu typisch deutschen Kneipen und Restaurants... Weiterhin ist die Lage der Stadt sehr günstig, wenn man Ausflüge in die Pyrenäen unternehmen möchte. Die felsigen Steilküsten des Cap de Creus sind ebenfalls nur wenige Kilometer entfernt. Ein Ausflug in die Weltstadt Barcelona bietet sich auch auf jeden Fall an. Roses ist ein Ort für einen erholsamen Urlaub zu allen Zeiten des Jahres: ob im Frühjahr, im Sommer oder im Herbst...

Notre maison est située sur la pittoresque Costa Brava, sur la côte méditerranéenne espagnole (3 étoiles dans le guide de voyage Michelin Espagne) et à seulement 50 km derrière la frontière franco-espagnole. Roses est devenue un centre touristique au cours des 20 dernières années, tout en conservant un vieux centre-ville et un grand port de pêche. Même hors saison l'endroit n'est pas désert. La promenade des palmiers et les nombreux cafés de rue vous invitent à vous attarder. Presque tout est disponible pour faire du shopping, notamment la poterie, le cuir, le vin... Les possibilités de baignade sont nombreuses. Ces dernières années, la plage a été reconstruite directement dans la ville et une marina a été créée au cours d'un processus complexe. L'endroit offre tout ce qu'un centre touristique peut offrir : de nombreux restaurants, parfois assez rustiques, bars, discothèques, voile, surf, tennis, équitation, minigolf, parachutisme, bateaux à fond de verre, « Tren » avec visites de la ville et bien plus encore.
Vous pouvez faire un tour de ville en petit train ou simplement faire du shopping. D'un point de vue gastronomique, il y a tout ce que l'on peut souhaiter, des spécialités locales aux pubs et restaurants typiquement allemands... De plus, la situation de la ville est très pratique si vous souhaitez partir en excursion dans les Pyrénées. Les falaises rocheuses du Cap de Creus se trouvent également à seulement quelques kilomètres. Un voyage dans la ville cosmopolite de Barcelone en vaut vraiment la peine. Roses est un lieu pour des vacances reposantes à tout moment de l'année : que ce soit au printemps, en été ou en automne...
